A.N.: the song doesn't has any meaning to this deleted scene. I was listening to the song & since the setting is in the summer I thought it'll be cool to add the song.

____________

One Month Later (after graduation)

🎶Looking, looking, looking
Looking, looking, looking
Looking, looking
Looking
Looking🎶

Its the middle of the afternoon and I'm finishing packing my bags for California. Aaron has been out of jail for a month now and he kept his promise on my graduation that we're going anywhere I want to go this summer. As I'm packing my bags I have music playing in the background to help me keep packing. I rapped along to the song as well.

🎶Looking for revenge
All summer sixteen
All summer sixteen
Playing dirty not clean
Out in front of Four Seasons
Looking like a damn football team
All in the same thing
All repping one thing
Looking for revenge🎶

Julian, Yamile and Jey are coming as well with their parents. I invited my biological father and grandparents to come but they suggested that I should just spend some time with Aaron this summer. Jacob and our father are going to Miami for the summer. So they should have a lot of fun down there. My grandparents are going to Hawaii for a few days since Grandpa Edward has a week off from work.

🎶To do what you couldn't do
Tell Obama that my verses are just like the whips that he in
They bulletproof
Minus twenty we in Pitfield
That Kai's kitchen in a Canada Goose
Famous as fuck but I'm still in the cut when they round up the troops🎶

This time we're going by plane because Aaron wants to catch back up with his sleep. I don't blame him either. But I actually like flying because free snacks and the ride is comfortable as hell. Plus, I'll have Julian's shoulder to sleep on.

I finished packing and placed my suitcase on the floor. I passed out on my bed and let out a big huff. I'm so tired from packing. I was doing it for almost two hours because I couldn't figure out what else I should pack. I always contemplate over the most simplest things its not even funny.

A loud knock at my door makes me groan and roll off the bed, almost falling. I caught myself and opened the door. Yamile and Jey are standing there with smiles plastered on their faces.

"This is my song!" Yamile squeals running inside of my room, pushing me out of the way.

"Well hello to you too." I said uber confused.

"Hey Ava." Jey chuckles giving me a hug.

"Hey. At least someone knows how to greet me!" I yelled the last part.

Yamile is not even paying attention to me. She's twirling around in the middle of my room rapping along to Summer Sixteen.

🎶Them boys they a handful
Then I hit 'em with the Hotline
Chris Breezy with the dance moves
Mo-G with the dance moves
Ave Boy with the dance moves
Jimi Hendrix with the solo
Those the strings that you can't pull🎶

Jey and I sat on top of my bed and talked until Yamile is done with her little rap session. She really thinks that she's a rapper sometimes. Its hilarious though because she always does these little dance moves.
