A.N.: Yamile's dress in the MM

_______________

We arrived to the arena right on time. Yamile and I quickly got out of the car so we could put our hat and gown on before entering the arena.

Mrs. Guerrero helped us put our stuff on. Once we had our hat and gown on we took a deep breath then made our way into the arena. We walked hand in hand towards the arena. The closer we got the more nervous I got.

When we finally entered I was greeted by Julian. I couldn't believe that we were still dating after three years. Its crazy.

He pulled me into a big hug & planted a sweet kiss on my lips. "You look beautiful Ava." he smiles.

"Thanks." I blushed. "You don't look bad yourself." I admire his suit.

"Thanks princess."

He actually looks good in a suit. He should start wearing suits more. I would love that.

"Yami there goes your bae." I tell her nodding towards her boyfriend, Jey, for the past two years.

A smile spreads across her lips and she walks towards him. I couldn't help but smile at them. They're such a cute ass couple. Every time they kissed it sent me on clouds. Its so adorable how she has to stand on her toes just to kiss him.

After talking to some of my friends we all had to get in our right places. I hope that I didn't fall in these heels because that would be so embarrassing. I prayed that I make it through this graduation without falling or do something embarrassing.

I got in my spot and said a quick prayer in my head. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

Slowly the lines starts moving and my stomach catches butterflies. After waiting for about five minutes it was my turn to start walking out. I put a small smile on my face and began walking out. People were cheering and holding up posters or flags.

When I made it to my seat I felt so much better. The first scary part is over. Now I just had to wait for my name to be called. Hopefully I made it across that stage without falling. I was proud of myself for not falling when I walked out.

"Ladies and gentleman, I present to you North Harris High School class of 2016!" Principal Carson says.

Most of my classmates tossed their caps into the air with smiles on their faces. I chose to keep mines on though. I didn't want to lose it.

I made my way through the crowd into the tunnel. Julian, Yamile, Jey and I all met up in there. We made our way out the arena then outside to meet up with our families.

I was surprised to see all of our families together. It looked like Jey brought his whole family with him. It was at least twenty of them. But hey, Samoans do have big families.

When I saw Aaron he was the first person that I hugged. He wrapped me into his huge arms and gave me a little squeeze. I was getting ready to cry all over again. I choked back my tears and smiled.

"I'm so proud of you Ava." he says.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"When we get back to the house I have a surprise for you."

Surprise? I wonder what it could be. If its a car I'll literally cry but I'm pretty sure its not.

"Ava!" I heard someone call out.

"Who called my name?" I look around confusedly.

I don't know who called my name but when I turned around I saw Blake walking towards me. How the hell did he even get out here? I haven't seen him in a whole year.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I couldn't miss your graduation. Congrats by the way." Blake smiles.

"Thanks. I'm glad that you came."

We embraced each other in a hug. As my hands traced up his back I could feel all of his muscles. Damn he got more muscular over the past year. He looked more beautiful than ever too. I had to stop myself though since Julian was near.

When we let go of each other Blake's blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight. I had to turn away before I melted in front of him.

"Where are the twins and your parents?" I ask.

"They went to use the bathroom. They should be out in a minute."

I couldn't wait to see the twins. I bet they've gotten bigger than the last time I saw them.

"Ava who is this?" Julian says from behind me.

"Uh this is Blake. He's a family friend. Blake this is my boyfriend Julian." I introduced them.

"Its nice to meet you." Blake says holding out his hand.

"You too." Julian says shaking his hand.

Awkward. I scratched the back of my neck as we all just stood there in silence. Good thing I heard someone calling my name.

"Ava!" I heard little voices.

"My babies! You guys got so big!" I smile bending down to give them in a hug.

"We missed you!" Justin tells me.

"Aww. I missed you guys too. I'll be visiting you guys soon."

"Yay!" they clapped excitedly.

I talked to the twins for a minute then went over to Ariel and Vin.

"Congratulations sweetie! You look lovely." Ariel says embracing me in a hug.

"Thanks. I'm just ready to take these shoes off." I giggle.

My feet are killing me like hell.

"Congratulations beautiful." Vin says as I give him a hug.

"Thanks. I really appreciate you guys coming out here. It means a lot." I tell them.

"Your welcome. We couldn't miss this after you came to Blake's graduation."

My family wanted my friends and I to take a group pic of us with our diplomas. We all got together and held our diplomas up. After snapping three quick photos we left to get back to the house and get out of this hot ass sun.
