I woke up feeling like a whole new person. I slept very, good last night. Maybe, its because I went to bed early for once. I haven't really went to bed early since summer started but I did about a week and a half ago. It was only because of what happened with Aaron but it was a nice sleep.

I was cranky and didn't want anyone touching or speaking to me. I'm a bitch when I'm really tired. I hate being bothered when I'm tired as hell.

After getting myself ready for the day, I went downstairs for breakfast. I entered the kitchen and saw Jacob sitting down at the table eating. Grandma Evelyn cooked some French toast with sausage. It smelled delicious like always. I'm hungry as hell right now. My stomach is growling like crazy.

I grabbed a plate off the counter and fixed my plate. I took three pieces of French toast and two pieces of sausage. I sat down next to Jacob and ruffled up his hair.

"Hey Jakey." I greeted.

"Ew. Don't calk me that!" he chuckles.

"Why not? I like that name!"

"It sounds like a baby name."

"But you're my baby brother. Can I just call you that when we're at home?" I pouted.

"Fine. Don't ever mention that name when we're in public." he tells me.

"Ok." I nod and smile.

"So um did you hear the news?" Jacob asks me.

What news?

"No. What news?" I say confusedly.

"Dad is coming into town today. He's coming over to meet you."

The fuck?

Why didn't Grandma Evelyn or Grandpa Edward tell me about this?

"Are you serious? If you're playing this is not funny."

"I'm not playing. He's coming over later this evening." he laughs.

"Oh shit. I think I'm more excited to see him than mom." I admit.

"I think you are too."

We both shared a laugh. I'm actually kind of nervous to meet my father. But I think this meeting will do better than my mom's. That was one of the worst meetings I've ever had. I hope my father's go by perfectly.

After breakfast Jacob and I chilled in the living room watching tv. Grandpa Edward was at work and Grandma Evelyn was in her room getting ready to head to work for a few hours. She owns a little bakery called 'Evelyn's Grand Bakery & Cafe.'

She brings back the best pastries I've ever tasted. I swear I fell in love with them. Hopefully she brings back my favorite pastry if they didn't run out already.

"You don't mind if I invite some friends over after Grandma Evie leaves?" Jacob asks me.

"This ain't my house so do whatever you like. But just know I'm not sticking up for you if you get caught." I informed.

I'm not a snitch. If he wants to invite friends over then go ahead. I can't tell him that he can't have friends over. I don't pay any bills around here. If he gets in trouble that's on him. All I have to do is pretend like I didn't know.

"Alright."

"How many people are you inviting?"

"Two." he says typing on his phone.

Grandma Evelyn walks into the living room with her keys and purse in hand. She grabs a piece of candy out of the huge bowl on the table in front of Jacob and I. There's some really great candy in there that I've never tried before.
