8th grader a week away from Christmas break no snow and my 2 year crush held my hand for the first time.
That's right. I wrote it you saw it. You smiled I laughed. Walking down the hall Austin pulls Mary away from me and my crush giving me a quick wink. I swing my arms by my sides lunch box in my right hand. A sudden heat touches my left hand I look down to see a tanner hand then mine where mine should be I look up and under the golden sweep of hair blue eyes and a grin await me.
'So you really like me back it's all true?'
Seconds pass that feel like hours. A chuckle and then a response.
'Of course Sarah almost two years now' a smile. A single smile that I would hold dear for a long time.
