* Elizabeth's POV * (wasn't expecting that didn't you?)
Everything is black. I can't see anything. I can only hear my surroundings. I think I'm in the hospital. I can't remember what happened to me though. I can't open my eyes. I can't move my body. I can't do anything. It's like my whole body has been shut down. The only thing that I've been hearing all the time is Devan's voice. This means that he has been visiting me frequently, maybe I could say everyday. He always tells me how his days went and how bored he is in school without me. He also tells me that he misses me so much. If only he knows that I feel the same way.
"Today at school was okay. Just the same as any other days. I really wished that you would wake up. The doctor said that if the next 2 following days you do not wake up, there is a chance for you to be sleeping forever." I heard Devan said like he was crying.
"I know you are strong Elizabeth. I know you can get through this. You are not an ordinary girl. You are brave, fearless and bubbly. I miss you so much and..."
I wish Devan knew how badly I want to wake up and get out of this bed and hug him.
"I think I'm in love with you"
Wait, come again?
"No! I don't 'think'. I AM in love with you. I love you, Elizabeth."
Oh my, he loves me?
"I need to go now cupcake. My mum needs my help at home. I'll see you tomorrow." He kisses me on the forehead and then head out of my room.
I think I love him too. I miss his hugs, his cheeky smile and his dorky attitude. I'm really determined to wake up! I must wake up! I must do this for my parents and Devan.
* Devan's POV *
I told her that I love her. I hope she heard it though. I want her to know. I really don't want to leave her from my sight but my mum really needs me to help her out at home so I don't really have a choice.
You might be thinking if I celebrate Christmas. Actually I did. We celebrate it in the hospital. I know it's weird but I don't care.
