Valentine's Day

* Elizabeth's POV *
Today is Valentine's Day! It's a Saturday but who cares? I'm going out with Devan later on. He told me to dress casual and comfortable. I asked him many times where we are going but kept saying its a surprise. I don't want to ask him many times because I really do not want to annoy the shit out of him even though it would be funny.

I think I'm going to wear a white cropped top along with a leather jacket, a ripped skinny jeans and a pair of high cut black converse. Devan is going to pick me up at 6 and it's 4.15 right now so now I need to shower, blow my hair, curl my hair, wear some make up and then put on my outfit. I like to plan out what I'm going to do so that I would roughly know how long it would take me to get ready.

* Devan's POV *
I told Elizabeth that i was going to bring her out on a date. I didn't tell her where we are going though. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. I'm going to ask her out during the date. I hope she accepts me because she is my world and she completes me. I can always be myself when I'm around her.

I told her to dress casual and comfortable at the same time. I'm going to bring her to Chipotle since that is her favorite place to eat then I'm going to bring her to a carnival that is not far from where we both live. I really hope she likes what I have planned for her. You must be wondering when am I going to ask her out. Well when we are on the Ferris wheel. Yea i know, typical.

* Elizabeth's POV *
It's 5:55 pm right now and Devan will be here at anytime. My mum is really excited for my date and I don't know why. She is literally holding a camera in her hands so that she can take pictures of us. It's not even prom mum!

Ding ding!

The door! He's here! I sprint towards the door before my mum could even open it. I think I nearly drooled when I open the door. He was wearing a Nike jumper, ripped jeans and a pair of black vans. He also styled his hair! Oh my, he looks so attractive.

"Hey!" He said, snapping me out of my day dream.

"Hi," I said, shyly.

"So you ready?" He asked.

"Yea, I am." I assured him.

"WAIT!" Of course it was my mum who interrupted. "I need to take pictures of both of you, for memories sake."

I seriously just mentally face palm myself. Really mum? Embarrassing me infront of my best friend aka crush? ARGHH.

"Okay, sure!" Devan said to her.

"Okay, stand closer. At the count of 3 say cheese. 1, 2, 3!"

I did not say cheese because I'm not a kid but instead I just smiled. Devan did the same too.

"Can we go now mum?" I asked her, pretty much getting annoyed.

"Yes honey, go have fun! And Devan, bring her home by midnight!" She told Devan.

Wow she really does trust Devan a lot.

"I will Mrs Collins!" He kinda promised. That is how he sound like.

"ALRIGHT! Let's go!" He said, grabbing my hand and going to somewhere his knows where we were going.

To my surprise, Devan got an Uber. Where the hell does this kid gets the money from? I don't feel Like asking him any question so I just shrug it off. But I'm going to ask him one question for now.

"Hey Devan," I called him.

"Hmm," he replied.

"Where are we going?"

"Well we both definately have not eaten so we are going to eat." He simply replied.

After that I did not ask him any questions. I think it took us like 10 minutes to reach the place and guess where did he bring me? CHIPOTLE! Omg. He is the best. He knows my favorites too well.

"We're here!" He said, excitedly!

"Oh my god, I know!" I laughed.

We got out of the Uber and then Devan talked to the driver, God knows what and then we walked to the entrance of Chipotle. When we got inside of the place, we started ordering and I ordered my usual because that's the best. Devan chose a different one and he said that we can share. I'm okay with it.

After eating, we went back to the Uber and he drive somewhere not far from where we were. From a distance, I could see bright lights shining, when we reached the place, to my surprise, IT IS A CARNIVAL! Devan is officially the best and also this is officially the best Valentine's Day EVER!

"This is the last stop and we're here!" He told me.

I just nodded my head because I don't think it was necessary to answer him because I'm still excited. We walk into the carnival, obviously he paid the tickets. He asked me what I wanted to play so I told him where we should start first.

When all the games ended, Devan decided to go to the Ferris wheel which I'm fine with. We queued and it takes like 5 minutes for us to wait until it's our turn. We reached the top of the Ferris wheel, I can literally see the whole city. It's so beautiful.

"Yea just like you," Devan said, out of the blue.

"Huh?" I asked, obviously confused.

"You said you could literally see the whole city and it's beautiful so replied to what you've said. I judge by your look, you weren't actually saying out loud right? You were just saying your heart?"

"Yea," I blushed.

"Hey I wanna tell you something," he said, looking kind of nervous.

"Well shoot,"

"We have been friends since last year. I have gone through thick and thin moments with you. I never ever regret one of them. Maybe the part that I couldn't save you in time when the Amanda thing happened but what I really wanted to say is that you are the best and you complete me. Without you in my life, I don't know what I'm going to do. So with that, will you be my girlfriend?" With that he pulled out a box and open it where it shows a beautiful necklace.

"Wow. Do you know how long I've been waiting for you to ask me out? Of course I would love to be your girlfriend," I said trying to be calm as possible because I'm literally freaking out on the inside.

"I'm relieved. This is for you and I want you to take good care of it." When he was done talking, it was time for us to go out from the Ferris wheel because we are at the bottom.

This is literally the best day ever! I can finally call him mine.

* Devan's POV *
I can finally call her mine. I greatful that what I did was actually paid off. Now I can call this a day!
