Smile

Tifa was full of smiles.The children just stared in confusion.It was kinda scary too.She won't get mad,the smile was still plastered on her face.That smile sent shivers down their spine.Did they do something wrong?At that moment,the bell rang and everyone rushed to it.The ninja stood there and greeted.After Tifa went to cook,Denzel and Marlene crept behind her.Naturally,she noticed.

"Yuffie,Tifa has been full of smiles today.Did something happen?" Marlene asked.

Yuffie thought for a while.She saw the kids behind her and looked for the words to code her sentence.

"Tifa!Did you and Cloud do 'something'*ahem*you know what I mean," Yuffie said,winking.

They stared as Tifa blushed beet red.

"No!" Tifa screamed at the top of her lungs.

Everybody flinched.What could make her that happy?Jewellery?Yuffie and the kids brainstormed.They decided that Tifa might be cheating on Cloud.Since she usually smiles to hide her problems.She didn't want to trouble anyone with her matters.Just because he doesn't come home often.Everyone became silent and felt sympathy for Cloud except for Marlene who decided to follow with it.

"What's wrong with everyone?" Cloud said.

As always,Cloud was as silent as ever.
"Cloud!Tifa is cheating on you!" they yelled.
This time,Tifa flinched and Cloud remained expressionless.Tifa looked at Cloud lost for words.Everyone waited for Cloud to snap.However,he was silent.He just stared at Tifa.She stared back at his blue orbs.She was prey to the natural beauty of his eyes.Even if it was a bottomless pit,like now,it was beautiful.Tifa looked away and felt something in her hands.It was the size of her palm.Questions rushed through her head.Yuffie and the kids stared intensely.A wedding ring?Tifa looked at Cloud,oblivious to their staring.Cloud gave a reassuring nod towards Tifa and saw her shaky hands open the lid.The diamond shone as bright as the stars in the night sky.It glittered with light.The necklance was simply beautiful.Even with it's simplicity.Tifa was fascinated and lost for words.She looked at Cloud as if saying,"For Me?"Cloud gave a shy smile and nodded again.She held the necklance by it's chain.Cloud went over and helped to put it on.Marlene went over with a mirror.She grinned together with the rest.The pendant fitted Tifa perfectly.It felt like the pendant was made only for her.Her eyes glittered with joy.

"Happy Birthday Tifa," Cloud's mouth turned into a smile.

Yuffie just remembered and felt awful.She called the gang and decided to celebrate Tifa's birthday the following weekend.
