Blood trickled down your hand, moving down the other scars, reminding you of each scar. You glanced down at the scars that littered your (S/C) skin. Feeling the familiar pain as you tried to get rid of lingering pain, desperately releasing it on your skin. It took a few minutes before your hand stopped, hovering above the blood filled surface. You clutched the pen knife tightly before setting it down on your table. Wiping away the blood that fell to your table, you quickly wiped away any access before pulling your sleeves. Feeling the fabric cover your wrists and half of your palm. Pulling on the (F/C) jacket, you quickly settled into bed, nothing seemed to fill your mind or heart. Everything within you seemed to feel empty. Your hand reached out for the phone beside you, noticing the message received from the brunette. She had planned for another gathering with the whole group and invited you again. Despite rejecting every offer, you saw a name that caught your attention. His name stood out from the others, looking as it consisted of the familiar letters. Gathering your final thoughts as you messaged Tifa, letting her take note of your participation. It has been months since your final interaction with him, and his presence seemed to always calm you down. The comfort of his silence and occasional conversations. Thinking of the different moments, letting it lull you to sleep, for the first time in a few days.

Your eyes opened from the glaring sunlight through your curtains. Checking the time, you received sleep that seemed to keep your body more active and awake than usual. Dragging your feet towards the toilet, you resumed your morning routine as your thoughts caught up with you. Remembering the events for the day as you planned out a small timeline. Splashing water to remove the soap, you changed into a white t-shirt and slipped on a (F/C) flannel. It was accompanied by jeans as you grabbed your breakfast on the go. Tifa's gathering was held slightly later, leaving you with more time than necessary to run errands.

Before you touched the door handle, you could hear the familiar laughter escaped through the small gaps. Opening the door, you silently placed your shoe back and walked into the room. Instantly, your vision was filled with them. You smiled softly at the gathering, missing their laughs. Silently walking away from the crowd, you jolted from the voice of someone. His tone was directed to you despite his gaze elsewhere. "Vince!" Your voice an octave higher from the shock. He seemed unaffected and simply continued talking.

"Not going to join them?" You turn your head to the referred group and simply shake your head. "Don't really feel like it today."

His silence served as your answer over the time you talked to him. Although he was always quiet and only talked when needed, you always felt comfortable around him. It held a soothing effect over you as you stood in his presence. Hearing no other response from him, you moved to stand beside him. Your back settled against the wall as you curiously glanced at his facial expression. His remained with the same expression as you stood in the comfort of his presence. Rather than any other conversation, interaction - this was enough for you to feel content. It brought a small smile to your face. The gathering was slightly more enjoyable as you watched it from afar, his aura enough to remove the problems that haunted you throughout the days. The familiar pain that ghosted around your wrists disappeared slightly, leaving you to enjoy his presence.

The party passed by quickly as some laid on the floor, intoxicated with alcohol. A blanket carefully placed to cover their bodies. Tifa smiled at you before she told you the room Vincent could be in. She bid goodnight before entering her own room. You only stared at Vincent as he started walking towards the allocated room. Following behind him, you wished to be around him slightly more than usual. He raised no objections as you entered the room. Rather than leaving, you wanted to be in his company for a while longer. Noticing this, he settled against the wall before motioning for you to lay on the bed. Catching the signal, you relaxed yourself on the bed and felt your body loosen up. Closing your eyes, causing sleep to instantly win over.

Waking up, your body felt slightly more rested than usual. It added a rare sensation to the morning routine. Looking around, instantly noticing the missing person. Rushing down the stairs, you saw Vincent at the doorway. Feeling your lungs absorb oxygen greedily, the your words barely made a sentence. "I will see you again right?"

He nodded, his deep voice reaching your ears. "Yeah, I will see you soon." His hand patted your head gently before he left to exit. This time, you felt your heartbeat quicken from the touch. Smiling at him as he left. You couldn't wait to see him again.
