Since it's the weekend and I've already done my work for all of my classes Erica figured it'd be a good idea to fly me, her, Shai, and King out to Cali to hang with Apryl and baby Mega.

"So little sis you ready for some Cali sun?" She ask smiling as we relax in our plane seats. King is resting on my arm.

"He took quite a liking to you. That's a first."

"Really?" I smiled down at his comfortable little frame.

"Yeah, new people have never really been his thing. But for some reason he's perfectly fine with you."

"I'm fine with him too." I pat his mass of curly hair that Erica really wants to cut. Not too long into the flight I feel myself dozing off, I guess it won't hurt to sleep for a little while. I feel hands trying to jolt me awake.

"Come on Tee Aila." A small voice says attempting to coax me out of my slumber. I stir awake and see Shai pulling at my sleeve. I smile and rub my eyes.

"I'm up boo. I'm up." I rise from my seat in the plane and grab my things from the overhead thingy. Stepping off the plane I'm hit with immediate rays of sunshine.

"Welcome to Cali baby!" Erica yelled tossing her arms in the air. She slung her arm around King and I grabbed Shai's hand in mines.

After we got our bags April picked us up from the airport. We strapped all the kids in first then seated ourselves.

"Hey hey ladies. Don't y'all look all scrumptious." That line alone broke the deal for me. Yesssssss she's a silly soul.

"Sure do, you want a bite? I've been told I taste like mangos." She smiled at my silliness.

"Girllllll you better stop. Now Erica why didn't you tell her mangos are my favorite." We laughed at our goofiness.

"Aila you better be glad your brother isn't here to hear you talking like that." She spoke half jokingly half seriously.

"Don't even get me started on that." I sighed loudly.

"Yeah O tells me he's tad protective."

"A tad?" Me and Erica said loudly.

"A tad is an understatement for my brother. He goes into full father mode."

"Well Daddy Shad is not here so you get to roll with the big girls."

I can see now that I'm gonna be good friends with Apryl. She's got a good vibe going on, and she makes O happy. She drops us off at the hotel so we can get some rest, and let the kids take a good long nap. I'm nowhere near sleepy so I think I'm gonna go sightseeing. I take a shower and change into clothes appropriate for the L.A. weather. I told Erica where I was going and that I'd call her whenever I got somewhere new. Since the hotel was close to most of the places I wanted to go I didn't need a cab. Thanks to Shad there was a lot of money in my bank account. I told him he didn't have to, but like always he didn't listen to me and put it there anyway. The more I explored the more pissed off I got, I've heard people say that folks in L.A. were rude, but I didn't know it was true. Four people have damn near knocked me over, not bothering to help, and if one more of these assholes bumps me without saying excuse me there's gonna be a problem. Would you look at that another one bumped me. But I guarantee they'll be the last to bump me. I turn around with my forefinger in full point mode.

"Excuse you, you rude ass individual. I don't give a damn how rich you are or how important you think you are, but." The smirking person in front of me stopped my anger filled rant. Jayceon.

"I'm sorry Lil Miss Aila." I smiled seeing him still smirking.

"Hi." Really? This man just said a full sentence, and all I can say is hi!!! Come on Aila, you have more words in your vocabulary than that.

"What you doing in Cali?" He asked holding my hand in his. Damn it, I still couldn't find my words to speak. I breathed slowly, collecting my thoughts as well before I spoke.

"My brother's fiancee brought me and the kids here for a little getaway. Since I've never been here I figured I'd do a little sight seeing."

"Mind if I join you?"

"Umm sure." He stood next to me hooking our arms together. I laughed as he told me I was in the part of L.A. that was full of snobs. So it was no surprise that they all bumped into me without a second thought to apologize. I can honestly say this man was a true gentleman the whole time he was with me. He walked on the outside of the sidewalk, and opened the door for me wherever we went.

"Okay this may be a little forward, but I told myself if I ever saw you again I'd do two things."

"What would those two things be?" I asked walking through the door to the candy store, that he held open for me.

"The first thing was I'd get your number."

I held my hand out for his phone. He placed the unlocked device in my palm. I keyed my number in saving it under my name.

"That's done, now what was the second thing?" I packed a candy bag with jawbreakers for King, and another with gummy bears for Shai. I have to take something to my babies.

"Would you mind if I took you out?" He scratched the back of his head as he scrunched his face up. He's nervous, if anybody should be nervous it's me! Oh my Lord, wait he just asked me out! What do I say, what do I say? Breathe Aila, breath. I coach myself mentally to calm down. Just act casual, it's just a date. Just a date with one of the sexiest men alive! Oh shoot, he's looking at me, duh he's waiting for an answer. Play it cool girl don't rush, don't let him see you're too excited.

"I'd like that." Yasss girl, you better be cool and nonchalant. Don't let him see you sweat. He offered to walk me back to my hotel, I took the offer because I actually couldn't remember where the hell it was. All I remembered was the name, thankfully he knew exactly where it was.

"I'll text you later Pretty Girl." He smiled. I smiled back knowing I looked like a dork cheesing all in his face.

"Okay." I squeaked out. He laughed at my small voice. He leaned in giving my cheek a small kiss before going the opposite direction.

Getting back to the room I fell back on the bed. Did that really happen, did I really agree to on a date with The Game?
