Good Place

My brother shows me around his place, and where I'll be staying. I put my bags in my room just taking in my surroundings, this place is amazing. After I shower I go to the front room to see my brother, Shai, and his fiancee. Erica sees me before anybody else, she stands up smiling, I immediately get nervous. It should be the other way around, but like I said it's been a while since I've seen my brother. I'm taken aback by her hugging me tightly.

"Hi little sister!" She squeals rocking our bodies, pulling back her face falls.

"I'm sorry, is it okay if I call you that?" I smile, she's just as nervous as I am.

"That's perfectly fine, I need a sister seeing as all I've got is big head over there." I don't consider my other siblings my family, they never tried to get to know me.

"Aye, we got the same genes if my head big then yours is too." Shad refutes at my statement. I giggle at his small tantrum. I stare at Erica taking in all her features, she's prettier in person. Big bro def picked a good one. She makes him happy, I see it all in his eyes.

"Come on, let me show you my city." Erica spoke looping our arms together. I didn't stop her seeing as I really wanted to see Atlanta. It's a beautiful place, but I can see it's a busy one.

"You think you'll be able to handle the city?" She smirks nudging my shoulder.

"Yeah, I think so." We sat in a shoe store.

"How was it growing up having Shad as a brother?" I could see her eyes lighting up at the thought of that.

"It was fun, even when he was on the road he'd make sure to call my mom so he could talk to me before I went to sleep. He's the only sibling I talk to, so I always felt really happy to have him as a big brother." Erica was nothing like what people perceived her to be on TV she's sweet. I was Team Mena before she dated my brother. After our little outing, and bonding time we went back to Shad's place. I was surprised to see Khleo. My eyes, and face lit up seeing him.

"Ayyye is that my baby I see?" He smiled holding his arms out for a hug.

"Khleo!" I closed the space falling into his hug. I missed this guy.

"Look at you." He spun me around taking in my appearance.

"You are not that little girl I met."

"Thank God for puberty." I joked. He smirked. Khleo was one of the few people that knew about me being Shad's sister. I used to have the biggest crush on him. I grew out of it when I realized he'd only ever see me as Shad's little sister.

"Alright, family dinner tonight." Shad says hugging me to him, pulling me away from Khleo in the process.

Since Shad and Erica know Atlanta better than me they took me to this big fancy restaurant. Khleo and Shai had already ordered meanwhile, I was still debating. I saw the quick bright flash of a camera.

"Shad if you don't delete that picture asap." I death glared him, as I told the waiter my order.

"Nope, candids are the best ones. And I'm already posting it." He stuck his tongue out at me. I guess I'll go see the picture. Looking at his Instagram I see the picture wasn't that bad. You could clearly see my face but my eyes were so focused on the menu. I smiled at his caption

Wifey, my baby Shai, and baby sis. Got all my girls with me.

Of course there were plenty of comments saying how he could do better than Erica, but then they started going in on me. Ummmm hello I just got in the picture to y'all, I'm not Shad I don't have a PR I'll go off on you with no hesitation. Two other comments made me happy, besides Khleo only three other people in Shad's life knew about me.

Aww they missed me! I looked up feeling eyes on me, Shad was staring at me. His smirk gave it away that he knew what I saw.

"You saw Chris and O's comments didn't you?" I nodded smiling.

"They been asking about you for a while. You know they gone fly they asses here to see you now that they know right?" I nodded knowing he was right.

Crawling into my new bed I lay against the pillows thinking. I'm in a new place, but I've got my big brother with me. So far Atlanta seems like a good place. Hopefully it stays this way.
