Confession #9: Always cease the moment. Anything can happen in your day that may mean more to you in the future. Quote of the day: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present." - Bil Keane

When I say it took everything in me to avoid Chance, I mean everything. That dream was carved into my head and I had to admit I loved every bit of it. My walls started contracting with excitement just at the thought of what he did to me.

I was sitting at the cafe up the street from work during my lunch break seeing as how I have a deadline rapidly approaching. I was so deep in thought that I didnt notice someone sitting in front of me until they cleared their throat. I looked up to see a handsome caramel skin man, with a beautiful smile, gorgeous Blue eyes, tattoos completely covering his arms and muscles you just wanted to lick.

I smiled. "I was wondering if you mind me sitting here seeing as how all of the seats are occupied and this one seemed available." I nodded my head letting him know it was ok. "Thank you. I'm Lorenzo Patterson." he said as he held his hand out for me to shake. "Lai'lanni Rodriguez. And your more than welcome." He smiled. I couldn't stop smiling, I had so many dirty thoughts. God whats wrong with me. Its hotter than the devil himself between my legs. I took a bite of my salad. I felt him looking at me but i refused to look up. "So what is that you do if you don't mind me asking." He asked nodding his head towards my tablet. I took a sip of my drink and swallowed. " I'm a head columnist. I work down the street at Thomas & Gates." He nodded. "That's a nice place. They have great designs and columns." I chuckled. " You read our columns?" He chuckled. " Is that so hard to believe?" He looked at me as he chewed half of his sandwhich. I shrugged. "Not really but most of our audience are female adults and teens. We have very few male readers and 90% of them are gay." He nodded. "I like reading about the female race. Growing up with a family full of girls, trust me things tend to become normal for you." I stopped tapping on my tablet to raise an eyebrow at him.

HE IS TOO DAMN FINE TO BE GAY! Soon as that thought crossed my mind he looked at me and chuckled while shaking his head in defense. "I'm not gay if that's what your thinking. I just have 2 older sisters,1 younger and 2 younger brothers." My mouth dropped. He simply nodded. " Yeah mom and pop went for the traditional big family. All sets of twins at that." I just chuckled and shook my head. "2 siblings is all for me. 2 older brothers. I'm the baby of the family." He nodded and before he could say anything else i recieved a text from Airec saying that we had a meeting in 10 minutes.

I dreaded leaving him and I wanted to be around him more but work calls. "Sorry to cut this short but I have a meeting in like literally 10 minutes." He nodded and stood as I stood. "No problem. I'm finished here so I don't mind walking you back if that's ok with you." I smiled. I hesitated but I nodded. "Thats fine." The short distance from the cafe to my office we learned enough about each other to want to know more. "Heres my stop." He reached for a hug. I started walking towards the building. "Lai'lanni." I turn back around and he met me half way. "Mind if i got yout number?" I smiled. "Not just yet. Work for the things you want." with that I walked off in a rush to my meeting.

I was working late tonight to make my deadline on time. My office phone rung. "Thomas & Gates Media firm. This is Lai'lanni Rodriguez speaking. How may I help you?" I said as I answered the phone. "Ms. Rodriguez you have a package. Well some packages. Do you mind if i send them up?" I heard Casey ask nervously. "Ummmm yes. Sign for them and send them up. Thank you." I hung up and continued with my work.

There was a knock on my door. I looked up to see a guy with flowers on his hand. "Lai'lanni Rodriguez?" I nodded. He sat the vase of a beautiful mix of white and red roses. They smelled devine. Next thing I know I started recieving them left and right. The last vase that was recieved had a note attatched. "I always appreciate good company and you are a amazing. Hope to see you again. -Zo" I smiled ear to ear.
