Chapter 5: 2 Guys, 2 Times the Drama

"What is there about Ms. Lai'lanni Rodriguez that I should know?" I smiled and shrugged my shoulders. "What is there you want to know?" I asked as I took a bite of my food. "Anything. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?" I smiled as i tried to think of something. "Growing up in San Jose with my brothers was hell. One day my brothers decided that it would be nice to show my boyfriend a home movie of me dancing and singing to Christina Aguilera." Once i said that he practically choked on his drink. "What about you?" I asked to get the attention off of me.

"Well at a recent family function...My grandmother decided it was a good idea to show baby pictures and she pulled out just about everyone of my childhood photos of me dressed as a superman. My tighty whiteys on the outside ans everything." I was trying to catch my breath. I'm sure my face was purple by now. "I like that." I looked at him confused once I gained composure. "Like what?" He was just smiling at me. "Your laugh. Its contagious and sexy and soft. Like a kids laughter except older." I blushed and thanked him. After lunch we went back to work.

"So was the dream true?" I smacked my lips. "I didnt have sex with the man! We only went to lunch. That was all." I responded. "Lunch can mean numerous of things. Me nd Quienton meet up almost every other day during lunch for a quickie." I rolled my eyes. "Airec thats because your hormonal ass act as if you would explode if Quient stopped touching you like that." He started laughing.

"Girl don't I know it. So what's up with the guy from this weekend. The flower guy." I thought about it. "Zoe and I talk. He wants to take me to this french resturaunt he used to go to when he was younger. I like him." I heard Airec sigh. "Look I gotta go but good luck cause both of them make you feel like Chris Brown and Channing Tatum standing in yo living giving you their own version of Magic Mike." I burst out laughing. "Girl let me go find Quient ass while I got that visual." I chuckled. "Night Ric." "Night La. See you in the morning." I hung up and made a cup of tea and watched Pretty Little Liars.

After the episode went to the gym. It was only 8 so I wanted to kill a hour or so. About 10:30 I was walking to my car and saw someone leaning against it. I grabbed my mace out of my purse. "Hey Lai." I let out a breath as I saw Lorenzoe and might I add looking better than the last time we spoke. We had a lingered embrace. "Sorry I'm a little sweaty." He smiled. "Its cool. You smell good so its a bonus." I smiled. "So what brings you out this late?" I shrugged. "Needed to blow off some stress from work. Working out normally works." He nodded. "Well I won't hold you up. I saw you coming out and thought I'd stop and see that pretty face." I blushed. "Wait why are you out this late?" He smirked. "Jogging at night is always best." I smiled as I admired his bare chest. "Well I'm going to shower. I'll see you later." He nodded. "Tomorrow night. 7:00." I smiled and said ok as I got in the car. I watched as he jogged off up the street.

Confession #14: God this man is just way too fine. When he was near me my heart races. My breath quickens and my stomach does flips. It takes everything in me not to want to jump his bones right then and there. If there was a way to be sexually in a mental way I would find a way to burn it out.  It sounds crazy I know but my harmones have been in over drive and I haven't been touched by someone in so long. Mind you It's been about 5 months. I'm afraid. Who am I kidding I'm feeling both men. Yes I said both. It's like something magnetic that has attracted me to them and It's purely amazing. I've never felt so. So. So, well lets just say it's a little out of my element. I know I'm the one to normally give advice but boys and girls. I've kind of gotten myself into a perdicument I can't seem to get myself out of. All I can is oh holy hell why me! Help ! I was sitting in my office updating my blog as usual when I heard my doorbell ring. "Coming!" I rushed to the door to see my brother standing on the other side. "Lamar !!" I said as I jumped in his arms like I used to as a kid. "Hola hermanita!" I got down and brought him inside with his bags. "¿Qué estás haciendo aquí? (What are you doing here?)" I asked as we made our way to the living room. "So I can come see my baby sister?" I playfully punched him. "Yes doofus. I just haven't heard from you in like 5 days." I whined. "Wow La that's a really long time." He said sarcastically. "Haha L.B. but seriously what brings you here." He looked at me and smiled. "I'm moving down here." My eyes grew big. "Disculpe? Qué quieres decir vivir aquí? (Excuse me? What do you mean moving here?" He nervously chuckled.

"Well geez way to show your excitement sis." I smiled. "I'm excited L.B. but-" He cut me off. "But you think mama nd papa put me up to this." I sighed and my shoulders sagged. "I mean with the whole Lance situation I feel like their being more protective of me after everything I been through with Leland and everything, but this. This is going to far." I shook my head. "Look I admit, they have been kinda extra because of Lance's stunt but I'm here on my own. They have nothing to with that. They think I'm only here to visit." I sighed. "No bullshit Lamar. You can stay in the guest room at the end of the hall so there is no need for a hotel room." He smiled. "I'm really glad your here." "Me too." I was getting up to get dinner started seeing as how we haven't had a family meal in a while and I missed my big brother.

"Yo La your phone is ringing." I was in the fridge gettign ingredients for my papa's famous tamales. "Who's it say?!" I heard him enter the kitchen. "Some guy named Zoe." I smiled and turned and took the phone. "Hey hansome." He chuckled. "Hey beautiful. How are you?" I smiled. "I'm doing good. How about you?" "I'm good. Even better if I could see you." I smiled even bigger. "Is that right?" He chuckled again. "Yea. Je m'ennuie de voir votre joli sourire. (I miss seeing your pretty smile.)" "Merci. Quand vous parlez de voir ce beau sourire? (Thank you. When are you speaking of seeing this beautiful smile?)" I was full on blushing as I was mashing tomatoes. "Tonight." I hesitated. "Okay. I'm making dinner now so be prepared to eat." He laughed. "I'm always prepared for a home cooked meal. I'll be there in about 20 minutes." I gave him directions. Once I hung up I ran to my room to get dressed. I was dressed in some white ripped jeans, a obey crop top and my pair of Retro 5 Jordans. Once I was satisfied with my look I headed back to the kitchen. "Well sis I see we both clean up nice." I turned to see Lamar in a lime green Polo with a blue horse, dark wash true religions and some lime green,black and blue IV J's. "Guess so." I smiled and kept cooking. "So why we dress up for dinner?" I turned and sighed. "We're having Company for dinner." He raised his eyebrow. 

It was hella awkward at dinner. I invited Airec and Quienton, Palar, and Lorenzoe and since Airec was at the bar with Quienton and Chase he decided to invite him not knowing Lorenzoe was going to be here. I was so caught off guard I was drinking wine like it was water and everyones eyes was darting back and forth between us three as we carried on with little discussions. "Dinner is great babe." I smiled softly at Lorenzoe. I could see Chase's jaw tighten as he watched us interact. Once eveyone was done with dinner Zoe had to leave for work in the morning, Airec and Quient left for alone time, and Lamar took Palar home seeing as how they hit it off pretty well. Meaning it left me here with Chase who insisted on helping me clean up. Dammit all to hell why did it have to be me. 

"Were you ever gonna tell me?" I kept rinsing the extra sauce and food down the disposal. "Tell you what?" I was scared. I acted as if I didn't know what he was talking about. "Lai'lanni you know what I'm talking about. Don't play dumb." I sighed. "I didn't know you were coming over okay. Otherwise I wouldn't have had him here." I was feeling bad. I wanted Chase but I wanted Zoe more. "So you have being seeing us both for the past 5 months or so. I dropped my head and sat the dishes in the dish wahser. "Yes Chase but it wasn't intentional. It just happened. I like you both of you." "But you like him more." I nodded. I know We didn't know each other that well but I just couldn't seem to feel the same way about Chase that I do Zoe. It was instant connection with me and him. I could tell it was purely physical attraction to Chase. He sighed. "I understand." He sat the last of the dishes in the dish washer, kissed my cheek and left. I took a big swig of the wine and climbed in bed.
