Lightning

Fight or fall

After a week of being Lightning, I'm starting to wonder if there are villains with powers to fight. When I had that dream, the black blob told me that those bolts made people evil. I also can't help but think the blob was also a silhouette of me.

Around noon, I was dressed in my hero costume. Flying over the city to see if someone needed me to save them.

Almost as if on cue, there was an explosion right under me. I stopped and used my telescopic vision to look 300 feet below me. One of the cemented stands that supported a highway was blown off. Cars fell and there was a huge fire.

I flew down to the point I was 50 feet above the fire, and then I blew it out. I hear the noise of kids screaming and I look up to see a school bus full of students was going to fall of the road.

I flew up and used my super strength to push them far from the ledge. The kids waved at me and smiled. I floted down and examined the damage. It'll take weeks intell the highway is fixed again.

On the other cement stand was fresh white paint. It was used to make a picture of some spider logo. Very lady like and evil.

My first villain to fight!

There was a police siren coming closer. I used my Lightning vision to see what caused the explosion. There was a picture across my vision of a bomb. One with the same spider logo on it.

Almost 5 cars pulled up. Then out came Officer Jackson, she is the most famous cop in the wichita police department. She is known for her detective skills and knowledge of the law.

I walked up to her and used my most strongest voice, "The cause of this explosion was a bomb." I turned back to look at the logo again. "I believe it was done by the city's first villain."

"I see you took care of the people. Good work Lightning." Jackson said.

"I trust that you will handle taking over." I put my hands on my hips.

"No need to worry. You do your job, and we'll do ours." She smiled.

I gave her a simple nod and took off. As I was in the sky I couldn't help but wonder, that if I'm going to find this villain than I'm going to need help. And the only person I know that is capable of that is .....

Andy.

Even though Andy was 14 he still had a real job as an assistant in the city's magazine company. The building was the largest in Wichita.

I walked up to him and said only one thing, "Meet me on the roof in 5." Then I left to the elevators.

As I waited for Andy, I thought of what it was I was going to say. I know that I was going to tell him that I'm Lightning, but it was difficult.

Behide me Andy said, "Okay Elysia, whatever it is you want to tell me can you make it quick because I'm not use to being up this high."

I closed my eyes and took three long deep breath. When I opened them Andy was looking at me kind of weird.

"Look, I'm about to tell you something about me that not even my family knows. And you have to promise me that you will not tell a soul."

At that moment he gave me a shocking look. "Oh my god, your a criminal. Are you?"

"What. No. I'm not a bad guy whatsoever." I said. "I'm her."

"Her. What do you mean?" He crossed his arms.

"You know. The girl who saved the plane. The girl who stopped that fire at the boating dock. The one who saved all those people when a bomb destroyed that highway." I turned to the city below me. "I'm her. I'm Lightning."
