1 year, 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,000 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds...... and counting.
It has been one year since the first update of Lightning. There were times where I would give up on this story because of the lack of views. But I kept writing, because it's the only thing I'm close to good at. And I would disappoint myself.
The reason why the world of Lightning is in the world of dc comics is because of the heroes. They may be fictional but they taught me a lot. Superman showed me that there's hope even in the most darkest times, Batman showed me that having brains and being intelligent is a super power, Wonder Woman showed me that even a woman can be stronger than a man.
Even when a small smile was impossible, beast boy from the original (and better) teen titans was always there with his terrible jokes.
The power rangers helped me through pre-k and kindergarten, while spiderman helped me through 1st grade. And thanks to the "son of batman" movie series, middle school was actually bearable.
Batgirl, dc bombshells, and gotham academy are the series that helped me with the first half of the first semester. I'm serious when I say that some days were okay, others, not so much. But we need to have the bad days right.
All I'm saying is super heros are the things that helped me through life and continue to do so. And I hope that Lightning is helping you go through the hard things in your life.
I'll update soon.
And with that said, this is @maxiesanchez signing off.
