The everyday life of an alien

".....and now I pronounce, the 2016 North high school graduates!"

As the new graduates jumped up and tossed their caps in the air, I stood up, smoothed back my tight long sleeve dress with sequences, and claped.

My mom and Ben were jumping around screaming and crying.

"Take it easy you two." I patted my mom's shoulder.

Brittany just graduated high school. I was happy for her, yes. But now I have to go to golden coral when I just want to go home.

My mom wiped the tears in her eyes and started pushing us out of the crowd. "Let's go find your sister."

I was eating a buttered roll when there was a crash outside.

Just then, Sapphire came in with a group of hypnotized men.

"I'm here bitches," She screamed happily. "And I brought party favors for everyone!"

That was when a round of gun shots ran through the air.

People ran, I managed to get to the bathroom without my family calling after me.

In the bathroom, I transformed into my uniform.

"You can generate or absorb electricity," Blue whispered in my ear. "Or turn into it and fly through the wires in the walls and ceiling."

I desided to do just that. Using all my might, I turned myself into a lightning bolt.

"Cool." My voice seemed like it echoed.

I floted up in through the ceiling like a ghost and then through the wires. Swimming in it was wonderful.

My x-ray vision showed me where to go. When I found Sapphire, I floted down and changed back to my solid form.

"It's Lightning." Someone gasped. "Thank god."

Sapphire didn't waste any time, the flames on her jumpsuit glowed and then she started to attack.

She tried to punch me but I grabbed her wrist and twisted it, making her cry out a little.

Still holding her wrist, I spun her around and put her in an arm lock.
She fell to her knees.

"Who are you," I asked. "Whats your real name."

"Screw you." She spat.

"Allow me to assist." Blue said.

Blue then connected my mind with Sapphire's. And I saw her past.

Her name is Athena Winter, she was a lawyer working on a case. She loved her job but the only thing she wanted in the world was true love.

That was what she was thinking about when she got strucked with one of my black evil lightning bolts.

Now she has the power to control the minds of men with her singing. She even sang to a scientist to make her suit.

The only flaw, was that no matter what, no one can really truly love her.

I came back to the present with Sapphire trying to choke me. Her hands were on my neak, I guess I loss my grip on her arm when I was looking through her memories.

"Athena, you don't have to do this." I barely gasp. "You can still be loved."

"I will never be loved."

There was smoke coming from somewhere. It was so thick that I couldn't see Sapphire anymore.

When it cleared, she was gone.

And then I left.

Back home, I called Andy and told him what I knew about Sapphire.

"That must be hard on her," He said. "A 29 year old woman looking for love but now, no matter what she does, no one will really love her."

"I know." I sighed and looked at the clock. "And I still don't know why she's doing this stuff."

"You'll figure it out."

"Look I got to go. Talk to you later?"

"Sure." And then I hung up.

I plugged my charger into my phone and then took a shower. When I was shampooing my black hair, Blue started to talk to me.

"Sapphire is robbing banks and storming in on restaurants because she's trying to find someone." He said.

"Who?" I stopped rinsing my hair.

"Before Athena became Sapphire she was a lawyer working on a case. That case was about a man named David Curotto, he murdered a woman he raped named Misti M. Cerra. David went missing just before Athena got struck by your black lightning bolts, he was at the bank and golden coral but Sapphire never found him. She was also in love with him intell he raped and killed Misti."

"How do you know all of this." Blue can not know this much.

"When Sapphire was choking you I continued looking in her brain and found some more important information for you."

"Well, thank you Blue."

I finished showering, changed into my pajamas, and went to bed.

The next day was the last day of school. When the last bell rings I'm going to be a freshman at wichita kansas North high.

Gemma is going to be a senior and Charlie is going to be a junior.

At pleasant valley middle school, us girls like to dress up in cute dresses. I put on my black dress and red converse high tops. And finally my leather jacket where the hood and sleeves were a gray cotton fabric.

The 8th grade awards ceremony was in first hour. Then for the rest of the morning the 8th grade classes went to The Alley to ride go carts and eat pizza. We also ate lunch there and came back for the talent show and yearbook signing. Finally, the last bell rang and we were on summer vacation.

I told my mom I was walking home. So I had time to think about Sapphire. The only way to catch her was to catch David Curotto as well.

"I may have an idea for that, your highness." Blue said.

My phone beeped and when I pulled it out, I saw that Blue was hacking into the wichita police department case files.

The one about David Curotto then pop up. Once I got home I started reading every word. I then found out that the bank and golden coral were the top places that David went to.

And one place else.

I think I know how I'm going to catch Sapphire.

Okay sorry this one took a while, you see I'm about to finish middle school and a lot of important stuff has been going on.

Also my dad's cousin died. But now summer is coming up so I'll have more time to update.
