I have superhuman strength, speed, and hearing. My body is bulletproof. I hardly get bruises or cuts. I have x-ray, telescopic, microscopic, and heat vision. Super breath and I can shoot lightning bolts out of my hands. Also I can fly into outer space if I wanted to. I risk everything to save the life's of 300,000 people everyday. The only thing about

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year.
