This girl is on fire

It has been 3 days since Sapphire went to Belle Reve, thats a prison in Terrebonne parish, Louisiana. Everyday, more and more people in Wichita are starting to like me. The news say I'm a miracle, our local newspaper "the Wichita eagle" write almost nice things about me.

But my favorite part is the people, especially the little kids. Little girls wearing Lightning costume and white wigs with different shades of blue on the tips. Teenage girls dyeing their hair like Lightning's. Even boys of different ages where wearing t-shirts and jackets with the Lightning logo on the front.

So far the only crime fighting I've been doing is stopping robberies and wounding up thugs and muggers. Right now, I was flying over Wichita when my super hearing picked up a fight in an alley. It just turned out to be two 15 year old boys fighting over a girl they were both into.

"She mine!" One boy said.

"In your dreams!" The other through an uppercut.

The fight was becoming brutal and more teenagers were circling around them. So I flew down and and separated them with only two fingers on each of their chests. The crowd became silent from the sight of me as Lightning. The two boys stared at me with wide eyes.

"Thomas!"

I turned around and saw a woman pushing her way towards her son.

"You got things covered here?" I asked her.

"Y-y-yes." She stumbled upon her words.

I turned to the boys. "Treat each other nicely, or expect a visit from me. You got it?"

They both quickly shooked their heads yes, and I took off.

As much as it hurts to say this, but Wichita was getting boring.

At least that was what I was thinking when I came face to face with Burning Coal.

Burning Coal was my new villain and let's just say she practically living fire. Blue told me there was a break in of someone's house on the south side of Wichita. When I got there, the break in was just a trap to get to me.

The entire house was on fire when I flew down. I started to use my super breath when a big ball of fire hit my upper left arm. The fabric of my sleeve was pitch black. My skin was unnaturally hot.

I turned towards where the fire ball came and was both amazed and scared by what I saw.

Burning Coal's body was completely covered in fire. She had no face what's so ever. And I knew she was a girl from her breasts. Somehow I knew she was the one who started the fire.

"Hello Lightning," Her voice sounded like she was on the other line of a phone call. "A pleasure to meet you. And if you don't fear me now, YOU WILL!"

Then she flew towards me. She came at me so fast she was shaped like her fire balls. Next thing I knew, her hands were around my throat and she was choking me. Her flaming hands were starting to burn my neak.

Well thats gonna leave an unpleasant mark.

I kicked her off me. When she landed on the grass, the patch around her turned black from her fire. So did the bottom of my boot.

The electrical impulses in my body quickly healed my body. The burn mark on my neck was gone and the black patches on my clothes were fixed up.

The sprinklers of the houses yard turned on and, of course, I got a horrible headache and lightning bolts traveled around my body. Burning Coal entire body started to go out.

It seemed to be really painful for her because she started to scream really loud. She managed to crawl out of the water and fly away.

"We'll meet again Lightning." She yelled.

And then poof, she was gone.

Me and Andy have been in my garage looking through the computers for hours, trying to find out who this Burning Coal girl is.

But so far, every turn ended up being a dead end.

"This is impossible." I groaned as I resting my head on the computers keyboard. "I'll rather start high school."

"Why don't you see if Blue knows anything." Andy suggested.

"Blue?"

"I did not have the time to find her name when I looked through her mind." He said. "But I did get an image of what she looked like before she became Burning Coal."

"And you just kept this from me?" I asked. Andy gave me a weird look because to him, it looked like I was talking to myself.

"Forgive me your highness."

"Alright." I pulled him from my ear and he turned from a silver ear piece to his normal oval sapphire shape. "Show me the image."

He showed a holographic image of Burning Coal when she was normal, and when I saw it, I nearly fell out of my chair.

It was Savanna Marie Aguilera.

Brittany's best friend since kindergarten.

I knew Savanna because I practically grew up with her. But I kinda hated her because she was just like Brittany. Always making fun of me, tripping me and making me fall on my face, making me cry and laughing when I do. Brittany and Savanna were more like sisters than me and Brittany. And Savanna hated me just as much as Brittany.

But she still felt like family.

And that is what's going to make fighting her difficult.

But before I can do that, I need to find out what happened to her. And so far, Brittany is my only lead.

I walked down the hall to Brittany and Gemma's room. I knocked on the door and slowly opened it. Neither of them were in there and Brittany's phone was charging on her nightstand.

I made sure that no one was around and I turned myself into a lightning bolt and went into Brittany's phone.

I saw a lot of personal information that I could black mail her for but for now I looked at her text messages with Savanna.

And then everything made sense.

Okay this update is a little sooner than the others that I've done because I've had nothing to do this past few days.
