Lightning

Time to end this

Four hours later, Andy went home to give me time to think. Right now, I'm in my Lightning costume sitting on the edge of the roof of the biggest building in Wichita.

I needed fresh air. You would to if you just found out you where from another planet. Technically speaking, I'm an alien. An illegal one. I brought Blue with me, to see if I had any more questions.

I started at my reflection in the sapphire. My eyes change from an emerald green to a sapphire blue. My mask was a sideway lightning bolt with a silver line on the top. The mask is the same as the lightning logo in a white circle on my chest.

"Hey Blue." I said.

"Yes." It glowed.

"Show me a picture of my kingdom." I commanded.

"Of course your highness."

A holograph of a dark blue sky with blackish blueish skyscrapers. It was beautiful. I couldn't believe it was mine.

"Thank you Blue." I still couldn't understand how my old soul no longer exists. It's not possible.

"If it's helpful. Widow Girl has a weakness."

I turned to the sapphire. "What? How?"

"She has super strength but not even she could break her own web."

A plan was forming in my mind. But I was going to have to know where she's gonna be.

"Isabella Ross is in the Via Christi hospital at 3600 E Harry St. That's where Widow Girl is going to bomb next."

"How do you know that?" I was shocked with what Blue had to say.

Blue turned onto a silver diamond ear piece that I could wrap around my ear.

"When a Plutoian is born the placenta will become a diamond. That diamond has a psychic connection with that plutoian. When you are in your secret identity form I will look like this, but when your in your Lightning form...."

Blue changed from a silver to a sapphire blue ear wrap.

"..... I will look like this."

I wrapped Blue around my right ear and took off in the sky.

"It doesn't make sense. Why would Amanda Ross bomb the same hospital her daughter is in?" I asked Blue.

"Isabella died this morning. Amanda was angry that the doctors didn't take care of her." Blue whispered in my ear.

"But why bomb those other places?"

"Her plan was too destroy the city intell the mayor was forced to give her the money she needed to complete her research. So she could find a cure. But now that Isabella is dead Widow realized that it was all for nothing."

So Widow Girl is going to bomb Via Christi for revenge on the doctors and nurses. For not helping Isabella even though they did everything they could.

A few minutes later I was hovering above Via Christi hospital. Just in time too see Widow Girl on the roof implanting a bomb.

"You have ten seconds to defuse that." I hovered down to her as she turned around and looked up.

She laughed and took out a tablet. The screen showed a blueprint of the hospital.

"You see, there underneath the basement. It's a one hundred pound bomb." She took off the leather jacket she was wearing to reveal a machine on her chest. "This machine is what makes it active. You see my beating heart is what keeps it on. The only way to stop the building from collapsing, is to kill me."
