The giant came at me with his club in his hand, I lifted up my sword and-
"Elysia!"
I jumped at the sound of my 21th century journalism teacher yelling at me.
"What are you writing that is more important than class?" He crossed his arms.
"Nu-nu-nothing." I stammered closing my journal, hiding my story about molly whupple the giant slayer.
It has been 30 minutes since the first bell ringed and I'm already bored. The first day of school has always been a burden for me. Last year when I started 8th grade, I got milk spilled all over my hair. This year it is the first day of 9th grade or first day of high school to make things more scary.
60 minutes later the bell ranged, I gathered up my stuff and walked out. Kids laughing and throwing paper balls were running around the halls. I'm guessing it's always like this.
I walked to the Gym and got up to the balcony. The teacher was going to give us a tour. Their also saying that I need a binder, what do I need a binder for, what am I going to smash papers in there while I'm running or playing basketball?
And also, there is absolutely no air conditioning in there. I have more heat in my body than normal humans. I already feel like passing out of heat stroke just by being in there. I'm gonna die. Note the sarcasm.
"Elysia!"
I turned around to see Gemma running up behind me.
"Gemma? What are you doing." I turned off my phone to hide the photos in my gallery. "You know we only have 7 minutes to get to our next class and yours is on the other side of the school."
"I know but I had to show you this." She sat down next to me and gave me a piece of paper.
It read, Redating schedule.
"A 'Redating schedule'?" I lifted up an eyebrow. "Your getting back together with one of your ex's?"
"Yeah. Why, what's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing it's just," I hesitated to find the right words. "don't you think it's a bad idea to redate, anyone?"
"It'll be fine." She took the paper from me and smiled at it. "The first guy on my list is my dear Bradley-boo."
"Brad? Bradley Smith?" I lifted up my eyebrow again. "Isn't he the guy that brought a pizza on your first date instead of flowers?"
"Ever heard of second chances?" She glared.
"This is a bad idea." I said.
"It'll be fine." She said again.
The bell ranged before I could tell her that Brad was probably dating a cheerleader.
And then class began.

After gym, was lunch. I ate on the floor in the halls like a lot of other people. After I finished my sandwich I went into the library and sat on a hard grey couch.
Behind me, there were crazy soft chairs, but they were always filled with people who have been nice to me since, well, today.
Especially, Alex. He's a sophomore with hairs on his chin. He waves at me in the halls and even offered me and Andy to join their "group", so to speak.
But before I could look over at him, one of the windows that were close to the ceiling shattered. Broken glass fell on the carpeted floor in front of me. I looked up and was amazed at what I saw.
A woman with tan skin was standing on the windowsill. She was wearing a purple suit and cape. There were metal feathers on her sleeves with sharp edges. Her hair was a purple-black color and styled in a horn like style. There was a blue gem on her suit that was glowing.
I sighed.
Of all the days in an earthen year, why did a new villain have to come out on my first day of high school.
She looked around and her eyes landed on a guy sitting next to my friend Alex.
She smiled a wicked grin that sended a chill down my spine. Hovering towards the scared kid she took off one of the metal feathers on her left sleeve and held it like a sword.
"Hey, babe." She smiled.
During all of this, I snuck into a room in the library and transformed into my uniform.
"Call her Deathwing." Blue whispered in my ear. "Trust me."
Turning into electricity, I teleported into the library and hovered above a 4 foot tall bookcase just when "Deathwing" was about to use her metal feather shaped sword to cut the kid's head off.
"Hey, Deathwing!" I screamed at her.
She looked over at me with a surprise look on her face.
"How did you know my name?" She asked.
"I know stuff."
Okay, that was lame. Great job genius. And in front of Alex.
Deathwing swung her feather sword at me. I backed away and held my arm up in defense but the tip of the sword made a cut deep enough to bleed.
I lifted up my knee and used it to smash her chin. A bruise was already starting to form.
Deathwing surprised me by flying out of the broken window she came in.
"This is far from over Jack." She yelled back. I was just about to follow her when the kid she was about to kill caught my eye.
"Are you alright?" I asked, giving him a hand and helped him up.
"I-I-I know who she is." He said still shaking from the attack.
"Who?" I asked.
"Sonja Isabel Alberto."
⚡
Blue confirms it. Deathwing's name is Sonja. She's supposed to be a freshman like me at South high. I've nevered fought a villian who was the same age as me. But on the bright side, the both of us might think the same.
The kid she was attacking, his name is Jack. He's her ex. I guess she's still mad about they're brake-up.
And as usual, it's up to me to stop whatever evil doing she's up to.

Sorry this took so long but I've been busy with school starting up again and what not. I know this is not what you were expecting but I've been diagnosed with writer's block.
Anyway, more updates coming soon.
See ya.
Bye.
