“What are your intentions with my daughter?” Matthew asked Charlie, Charlie’s eye’s widened. “I’m sorry?”

“Your intentions, surely you must have them.”

“My only intention is to keep your daughter safe... I will always love-” “I don’t want your useless ramblings” Matthew interrupted.

When Charlie returned in one piece into the lounge-room, my worry was replaced with a happiness, until I saw his desperate look to get away.

The car ride home was awfully quiet, until Charlie cleared his throat and spoke. “He asked me what my intentions are” Charlie revealed, putting his indicator on.

I groaned, dad obviously forget’s that I am twenty-three years old. “What did you say?” I asked as he turned the corner.

“Not much, he interrupted me.”

I sighed, one day he would get it through his thick head that it is my life, not his.

“He also told me that he expects much of me, and that I must provide well for you and our... Future kids.”

Future kids? Dad thinks already that we are planning unhappy events like giving birth to... to... things??

I must say I am not a fan of children.

Charlie doesn’t like children that much either, it must be why we are ‘perfect’ for each other. I never liked kids when I was in my early teen’s and I still don’t like them now, so it looks like it will be a very long time until the final decision is made, that’s if there even is a choice to make in the first place.

Charlie put a movie on for the night as we settled down, I was half asleep when the movie finished and Charlie was secretly sobbing. We watched Titanic- I love the movie, but it was sad to me the first hundred times I watched it, not the 101’st.

I suddenly awoke in the middle of the night, Charlie was literally asleep on the floor. He must of fell off, or was unsure of what I’d think if he was asleep next to me. I personally wouldn’t mind, because the thought wouldn’t even cross my mind of him being next to me. I smirked as I thought of leaving Charlie asleep on the floor as I made myself more comfortable.

Morning came quickly...

Charlie opened his eyes and groaned in agony as he lifted himself up, staring at me with wide eyes. “My neck...” He trailed off, groaning again when he tried looking around. “It’s... Sore” he stated, looking at me once again. I immediately knew he had a knot in his neck, and it was half my fault because I left him there, on the floor. What? He looked comfortable to me.

“You didn’t have to sleep on the floor Charlie” I yawned as he walked into the kitchen, a groan rippled through his throat. “Now you tell me” he rolled his eyes as he opened the refrigerator, ignoring my smirk.

“Any wedding plans so far?” Charlie asked, sitting down next to me and trying his best to look at me. I shook my head, though knowing already he wanted to make some.

“Invite Marshall” I scribbled Marshall’s name down on the notepad. “Our parents” I quickly scribbled it down, waiting. “And let’s forget about your friends” he muttered, poking his tongue at me.

After a few hours, the list was complete.

“Do you think we are rushing it?” I asked, Charlie sighed and laid back on my bed pillow. “IDK” was his reply.

“Did you just chat-speak me, Charlie?” I asked, he smiled and nodded.

“Don’t be mad... But we don’t have to set the date for our wedding yet” I said innocently, he rolled over and faced me, his eyes beaming with colour.

“Miley, I would never be mad at you” was his only reply.
