Invisible (Jai Brooks Fanfic)

Chapter 18

Today is Saturday and it's been 12 days since Jai asked me to be his girlfriend and it's been an amazing 12 days just let me point that out.

Today Jai invited me over to the park to meet his friends Daniel and James and I'm sort of nervous. I don't know what to expect... from what Jai told me about his past with the bad crowd I don't know what type of friends his going to bring around.

All my friends seem to like Jai and I finally don't feel invisible.

Girl only 12 days have passed. All relationships seem perfect at that point.

Thanks brain. Ya it still gives me anxiety.

Me and Jai have been to the skate park together last friday and Saturday and we went yesterday and it turns out that gladly Jai bacame friends with all the people that my group socializes with. Today I would be like always going to the Skate Park with my friends but today I'm going to the park and I haven't been this nervous in ages.

I decided on just wearing a pair of jogging pants and a minnie mouse crop top with a pair of Galaxy Vans. Plus of living in Melbourne is that even  though its December it's warm here because its Summer here and our vacations are starting next week. I wasn't really bothered with makeup so I just put on some eyeliner and mascara and I was ready to go to the park where I promised to meet Jai.

I walked into the park and saw a few little kids running around the small play ground. I looked around the park looking for Jai when I suddenly saw five boys about 30 meters away from me yelling, laughing and sitting on the ground infront of a camera. I could see that Jai was one of them and I began to make my way towards the tree the guys were next to.

I reached the place received a quick wave from the Brooks and I just stood awkwardly a meter or two from where the camera was stood on a tripod. 

Why are they recording? Why are they answering questions infront of a camera? Are they doing what I think their doing?

3 minutes later Luke got up and switched the camera off and Jai came up to me and gave me a hug before giving me a kiss on the cheek and putting his arm around my waist and walking me over to the two other guys that were there with them.

"Lillian this is Daniel and James." Jai said introducting the guys to me.

"I'm Lillian as you might have guessed" I laughed slighly before getting pulled into a hug by the two guys. I'm glad their nice.... not some drunkies like I worried they could be.

''So what were ye doing?'' I asked curiously pointing at where Luke was putting away the camera and all the other stuff.

''Jai you didn't tell her?!" James said at Jai nearly yelling.

''I forgot shit." Jai said before turning to me. " We were doing a Q&A. No time to explain I'll show you later on because you're coming for a sleep over at mine tonight right?''

"Am I?" I asked because never told me about that.

"The guys are staying over tonight and I thought maybe a movie night with you involved would be a good idea. You could meet my best friends and get to know them better." Jai answered.

"I don't know what my parents will say about this.." I answered biting my lip.... their so gonna say no because Jai is a guy. 

"We'll go to your house along the way and I'll ask, they cant say no." Jai laughed.

"Okay guys I packed everything back into the car. What do you want to do now?" Luke said. Him and Beau joined us at where we stood.

"TOWN!!!" I yelled too excited. The day was so nice and all I wanted to do is go to shops and look at clothes which I can hardly ever do when I go out with the girls cause someone will always want to do or go somewhere else.

"YESSSSS!'' Daniel joined me in the random squealing. 

"Guys! Chill out! Daniel your going to cause my girl to pass out if you don't put her down now and stop jumping. First we're going to make a little stop at Lillian's." Jai laughed. Ya Daniel sorta just picked me up and started jumping around like a little kid.

We got in Beau's car, I haven't got a clue how we managed that though seeing as theres 6 of us here, I ended up sitting on Jai's lap with was pretty awkward mostly because the guys made it awkward with the teasing....

We reached the house and me and Jai left the car and walked into my back garden were my parents were sitting down having a rest.

"Hey mum, hey dad." I said cheerfully when they looked at me.

"Hello Mrs and Mr Davis." Jai said politely.

"Call me Trish and my husband is Peter." My mam said smiling at Jai.

"I was wondering could Lillian come to a sleep over at my house tonight? My mam is going to be there and we're just planning to have a movie night with my brothers." Jai asked politely. I was so nervous that they'll say no that I couldnt stop biting at my lip.

"Um... can I please have the number to your mam just incase?" My mam said. wow my dad doesn't get involved in answering questions like that much. 

"Yes of course." Jai answered and gave my mam the number. 

"I'll give her a call later on." She said giving us both a big smile. "Have fun but not too much."

"Thank you." I said running up to my parents both a big hug before skipping back into my house with Jai following behind.

I quickly packed some stuff into a bag and minutes later but me and Jai and I were back in Beau's car.

"TO TOWN NOW!!!!!!" Daniel squealed once again making us all laugh.

The town trip was going great so far. I think today I've went into almost ever single shop we saw.... I say almost for the reason that when we walked past a sex shop Beau ran in and decided to buy dildos for some random reason. When I asked why he answered "I have a video idea." which deffo didn't make me think he's a porn star.... :')

Everything was going great, I had some shopping done, the guys bought a bunch of weird studd like wigs and we were now sitting in Mc Donalds when someone walked in and I heard my name being called. 

I turned around to see a most likely very drunk Julia, Madison, two guys I've seen like once and some girl I don't recognise standing there. They all seemed to be drunk apart from Madison who was probably babysitting julia.

"Oh hey guys." I said giving them a cheerful wave but inside I could began to feel ill.... 

"So you chose some boy over your friends now?" Julia answered. Fuck... I hate when she's drunk.

"I.. um.. no Julia. I just had plans for today." I'm trying to keep my cool here but if her drunk friends don't stop sniggering behind her I'm not sure how long I'll last.

"I see ho....." Julia began to speak again but Madison stopped her. She lead Madison up the stairs in Maccas to the first floor thankfully and the other people followed.

"Who was that?" All the boys apart from Jai asked because Jai knows Julia by now.

"The girl who spoke to me and the girl who dragged her away are my friends." I sighed not even looking at them.

"Is she like this always?" Beau asked sounding a bit concerened.

"Only when she's drunk." I answered also receiving a text at the same time.

"Anyway guys are we going to go back to the Brooks house now." I said once again cheerfully putting my phone into my pocket.

"Let's go!!' Luke said getting up. We all got our bags of shopping and headed towards the parking were Beau left the car.
