Hello everyone! I have had a lot of time on my hands these past few days so I have actually got another Chapter done here. And then Chapter 4 will be released on Thursday this week because I'm really busy Friday (Xmas) and Saturday (Boxing Day). Thank you and Have a Merry Xmas!!!

As the bell went off, Mr Simmons yelled across the classroom "Class! Have a wonderful weekend! I know that the very special winter fair has returned and I am sure everyone is looking forward to it and will be going so have fun!".

As everyone packed away their books, there was no other gossip going around apart from The Winter Fair. Everyone loved it so much as it always had a wonderful winter wonderland theme and the people who run it really go out of their way to make it special.

Sid, Harold and Stinky both discussed about what they were going to do. Stinky said "I reckon we get a rusty bumper car and really wham into everyone on account of it will give 'em a good whamming".

Harold chuckled "I think we should eat every single marshmallow filled chocolate thing so that no one else can have any!".

Sid thought to himself before smirking "No, I reckon we win that giant teddy bear on the frog stool!"

Harold and Stinkys jaws dropped. Stinky asked "You mean that giant teddy bear that's about the size of Harold? And has been there for years?"

Harold continued "The one that's impossible to win? You can't do it!"

Sid smirked "Oh yes I can, because I have a plan!" He said while poking his cap with one finger to show he has a brain.

Phoebe smiled at Helga "Will you be going to the fair this year Helga?".

Helga scoffed "Phoebe, they do the same crap every year. I've been there 100 times and it's boring!".

Phoebe turned away as she buckled her bag "Oh well, if you change your mind, I'll be there to keep up tradition".

Helga watched as Phoebe walked out before slumping in her chair "Yeah right! Helga G. Pataki is officially bored of the stupid fair".

Unknown to her, Gerald and Arnold were starting at her from across the room before Gerald said "You got it buddy! You can do this".

Arnold made a less amused face "Gerald, your making this sound as if it's a REAL date".

Gerald replied "That's the point! Now go on!".

Arnold looked across to Helga who was scraping her teeth with her finger and looked annoyed as usual. Arnold gulped as he slowly got up out of his chair and walked over.

Helga finally got up and packed up her books until she saw Arnold come up behind her.

"Hi Helga" Arnold said in his usual cheery way as he smiled.

Helga looked down at him and snarled "What do you want, Football Head!? Can't you see I want to get home?".

Arnold was taken back as he struggled to speak "Um, sorry Helga, I know but I was just wondering if you were planning on going to the Winter Fair?".

Helga rolled her eyes as she slung in her backpack and started to walk out with Arnold following closely behind her. She was suspicious as she said "Why do you care anyway, Arnoldo? And why would I want to go?".

Arnold pulled himself together and smiled "No, I-I was just wondering...if you might want to go...?".

Helga walked down "No, I am not going! Especially not on my own!" She then shoved a 3rd grader out the way while growling.

Arnold continued "No, I mean do you want to go with me?".

Helga blinked back. Did she hear him correctly? No. She couldn't have. She stood there for a while with a blank expression until Arnold repeated himself.

"Helga? What's your answer?"

She shook her head at a rapid pace before turning to him and frowning "About what!?"

Arnold rubbed the back of his neck "About if you wanted to go to the fair...with me?"

She had heard him correctly!

"Arnold...just asked ME if I wanted to go to the fair...with him! Oh! Maybe he has seen that I am the one for him! Maybe he has seen past my annoying bad girl side and into my mushy sensitive centre! Maybe he has seen my real feelings for him and...maybe...just possibly...has the same feelings for me! Oh!"

She smiled and whimpered to herself before realising Arnold was starring at her with a confused expression still waiting for an answer. She giggled nervously.

"D-do you mean l-like a date?" She stuttered.

Arnold replied while rubbing the back of his neck "I guess if you wanted to call it that".

Helga scoffed as she came back to reality "Ha! No way! That is disgusting! Like I would ever want to go on a date with you, football head!".

Arnold shrugged "Well, what about just as friends then?".

Helga shrugged and smiled slightly "Ok, Arnoldo. I'll go to the fair with you if your THAT desperate. But you better be paying for lunch".

Arnold sighed and rolled his eyes "Fine, I will pick you up tomorrow at 6".

Helga turned around before replying "Make it 5. I want to be first in line to get the good bumper cars and not the rusty ones. Oh, and to get them yummy marshmallow filled chocolate things before they run out".

She then finally walked out the door and out of the school. Arnold sighed before turning around and walking down the now less busy hall way "Huh, tomorrow's going to be some day".
