Skylars deep blue eyes were glued onto the playboy. In his usual sexy suit, his hair perfectly spicked, his eyes had the alluring spark which attracted girls and his air gave off a sense of danger and exhilaration.

Sighing, Skylar pushed her long brown hair behind her ear. She had no chance with the one of the most infamous boys of Fairy tail. She was timid and awfully shy but she wasn't stupid.

Erza noticed her sadness and heartache as she was going through a similar situation with Jellal, where being together seemsd preposterous.

The red head watched as Skylar was about to leave. She decided she wanted to support her awkward friend.

'Mmmhh... what could I d-'

"Na-Natsuuu! I'm going to kill you!" Erza yelled in anguish, witnessing the death of another one of her favorite cakes.

I'll help her somehow! She thought as she tackled Gray and Natsu the putting them both in a painful head lock.

2 days later ~

"Please Skylar help me out," Erza said using her best sick voice. She was a good actress in times of need.

"Alright just for you..." said the bashful young lady, who had just reluctantly agreed to 'help out a friend.'

The devious Red head thanked her and suggested her to go to the train station immediately.

How unfortunate for Erza to get gravely ill, just when she had a mission with Loke.

Skylar rushed quickly to the train station, her heart beating fast and a quenching feeling in her stomach. Her first date/mission with Loke.

It's not like the awkward girl had never spoken to him before, they've been through a lot together and they have become good friends. Loke secretly dropped hints to her, too bad she was naive.

Whhhhy Erza-San!!!!?!!!!

But wait this could be the perfect opportunity for you Skylar!

No he would never be interested in you, try not to get too close.

No! Seduce him then!

Her vulgar thoughts were cut short. She had accidently bumped into a hottie. Lucky.

"Oh I'm sorry."

"That's alright, " the charming stranger said. Brushing his hand through his hair, he smirked at Skylar.

"What's your name?"

"Skylar..."

"Such a beautiful name."

"T-thanks. "

"My name is Hiro, I just got off the train could you show me around Magnolia?" He slyly wrapped his arm around her waist.

"I uh have to go..." Skylar mumbled peering over the crowd for Loke.

"Come on! Let's have fun," whispered Hiro, grabbing her wrist gently but squeezing it roughly .

"L-let me g-"

"Skylar! There you are!" A familiar voice shouted.

"Loke!"

"Hey buddy let go of my girlfriend," growled the angry mage.

"She's mine now."

Loke smirked then punched his face with all his strength.

People being people started to circle them with curiosity. After pounding Hiro a couple more times, Loke decided it was enough before the authorities got involved.

"Don't you ever touch her again," he snarled as he held up Hiro's shirt. "Let's go Skylar!" He reached out for her hand and tangled her fingers with his own.

Skylar stopped and dug her face into his back, her tears trickling out. Loke turned to hug her, holding her tightly in his arms.

"Don't cry Skylar it's over now."

He received a muffled sniff as a response.

"I promise I'll always be there to protect you."

"Wh-what do mean?"

How does the biggest playboy fall for the most innocent girl? , Loke questioned himself. He chuckled "what I mean is that I love you and I'll always be your hero."

Leaning in slowly, the brunette kissed the stunned boys soft lips. The daring kiss of shy Skylar told him everything.
No noisy words were needed, after all actions speak louder than words.
