Chapter 4: Violets POV
It's been a a couple of days since we've been in Florida. I'm having so much fun. We went to the beach, Disney world, blizzard beach, and Harry potter world. In 2 days we are going to Pittsburgh. I'm gonna miss Florida but I can't wait to go to my very first hockey game! Everybody was sound asleep but me. I was laying in bed and I couldn't sleep at all. No, I'm not having a panic attack. I just miss my family. I have been away from them for 5 days already. I just really miss them, especially my dad. I look over at the clock at it says 5:30 A.M. That means its 10:30 A.M. Back home in England. I grab my phone and turn it on. The hotel has free wifi so I logged into it. I then slowly get up from my bed and slowly tip toe to the bathroom trying my hardest not to wake up Amanda or Jack. I decided I'm going to FaceTime my dad. I haven't FaceTimed him since I got here. When I got the bathroom, I turned the light on and shut the door. I'm in the bathroom because I don't to wake up Jack, Jaime, Amanda, or Mrs. Jones. I sit on the toilet, unlock my phone and went to FaceTime and clicked my dads name. It had to of rang for about 5 mins until my dad finally answered. Seeing my dads face made me smile. "Daddy!" I scream whisper before he could even say anything. "Violet what time is it in Florida?" "5:45 A.M." "Are you not use to the time differences yet?" "No, I'm used to it now." "Then why are you FaceTiming me at 5:45 A.M.?" "Well technically dad it's 10:45 for you." "Violet answer my question." "I miss you daddy and I couldn't sleep because I miss you so much." I say as I start to feel tears fall down my cheeks. "Violet do you want to come home?" "N-N-No." I say between my sobs. "Are you sure Violet? You seem like you want to come home. I can get you a plane ticket have you come home." "I-I'm sure dad." "Violet, you know you can come home. Mrs. Jones will understand this is your first time away from home." "I-I know she will but I don't want to disappoint Jack." "Oh honey, he will understand. But, if you change your mind just FaceTime me telling me you want to come home." "Okay daddy." "I think you should get some sleep. I love you and miss you." "I love you too daddy and I miss you too." "Alright now go to bed." "Okay daddy." I say as I whip my tears away and end the call. I turn off my phone and leave the bathroom and go back to my bed. I put my phone on the nightstand and look at the clock. It's 6:08 A.M. I crawl back into bed and cover myself with my Olly Murs blanket and close my eyes and try to fall asleep.
