"Violet do you know what the doctor means by severe suicidal watch?" My dad asks me. "N-N-No." I say slowly, ever since I woke I have been talking really slow. "Basically it means you're not allowed to leave our sides." "W-W-What a-a-about when I go to bed." "One of us is gonna have to sleep in your room with you for a couple of weeks." "W-What a-a-about when I go to the bathroom or shower." "Somebody is gonna have to be in there with you." My dad says and I get creeped out. "Don't worry it's probably gonna be Natalie." My dad says and I smile weakly, I'm glad he's not gonna have to be in there with me. "I-I-Is s-s-she t-t-the one who's gonna sleep in my room." "No honey, the doctor said it has to be me or your mom." "I-I-I w-w-want y-y-you d-d-daddy." "Okay, then I will." My dad says, but before I could say anything one if the nurses comes in. "Violet we have a surprise for you." She's says and I smile because I know that the surprise is Emily. I give everybody the "get out" look, and they all knew what I meant because they all started to leave the room. "N-No J-Jack s-s-stay." I say slowly and Jack stops in tracks and turns around and smiles and walks back towards me, he then sits down in the chair next to my bed thing. "Are you ready for your surprise?" "Y-Y-Yes." I slowly with a big smile on my face. The nurse steps aside and the doctor comes in holding Emily. She looks 100000% better . She wasn't a purple color, she didn't need the IVs, and she didn't need the tubes. She was giggling and smiling and being her happy little self. The doctor brought her towards me and I guess she knew it was me because her eyes widened and she reached at her arms so I could hold her. The doctor hands me Emily. I look up at her and she had a sad look in her eyes as if she knew why I was laying here and asking 'why mommy why.' I could start to feel tears build up in my eyes, soon they started to flow down my cheeks. I soon start to feel little arms wrap around my neck. I look down and Emily is hugging me. "O-Oh E-Emily m-m-m-m-mommy l-l-loves y-y-you s-s-so m-m-much." "Daddy is happy that both of my two favorite girls are okay." Jack says smiling. "Oh, Mr. Jones?" The doctor says. "Yes?" "Emily can go home today. But she needs to take medicine." The doctor says and I feel horrible. "W-When c-c-can I-I-I-I go home." "Not for a couple days." The doctor says I start to cry. "Violet don't cry, you know I or even your parents will bring her here everyday to see you until you come home." Jack says and I just nod my head. "Do you want me to leave so you can just be with her alone?" "P-P-Please." I say and Jack nods and leaves. I hold Emily even tighter. "Mommy." I hear Emily say and my eyes light up. That's her first word!
