Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Violets POV

"Violet!" I hear but I ignore it and try to still sleep. "Violet wake the hell up!" I hear again and yup. It's Natalie. "Ugh. What do you want Natalie?" I moan. "Wake up." "Natalie I'm tired. I didn't fall asleep until 4:40 last night. Emily kept kicking." "Wait who's Emily?" "Me and Jack are naming our daughter Emily. Now let me go back to bed." I say putting my blankets back on me. "Violet it's 3 in the afternoon. You basically slept the whole day." "Are you serious?" "Yes! Dad told me to wake you up." "Speaking of dad... I really want to know what they are hiding from us." "I know me too." "Wait maybe we can ask grandpa!!!" "Yes!" "I'll call him." I say as I sit up and grab my phone. "Put it on speaker!" Natalie says. "I am!" I say as I click my grandpas name and put him on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Grandpa?"

"Yes?"

"It's me and Natalie. You're on speaker."

"Okay why did you call?"

"We have a question."

"Ask away."

"Do you know what my mom and dad are hiding from me and Natalie?"

"Umm why do you ask..."

"3 months ago when I was going to Jacks house I asked my dad if he was mad at me for getting pregnant at 17. He told me that he wasn't and asked why I thought he would disown me and I said for getting pregnant at such a young age. And then he said 'No parent would ever do that. Grandpa didn't disown your mom when she got pr.-' and then he stopped himself in mid sentence and when I questioned him about it he told me to forget that he said anything. Then on the way back from Jacks I asked him about it again. He told me to stop asking him and then I said 'Are you hiding something from me?' And he said 'No I'm hiding something from both you and Natalie.' And when I asked him he flipped out on me. Then we asked mom about it and she told us that we aren't ready to know yet. Every time we would ask about it they would yell at us and tell us it isn't important. Do you know what's going on?"

"Shit."

"Grandpa?"

"Yes?"

"You do know something!!!!!"

"Well. Um. Yes.."

"Tell us!"

"No it's not important."

"It has to be important if you, mom, and dad won't tell us!"

"Um I have to go bye love you guys."

*****Kristen's POV*****

It was 3:30 in the afternoon and I was downstairs taking care of Isabelle when my phone went off. I look at my phone and it's my dad. I put down Isabelle and grab my phone and answer my phone.

"Hello?"

"Kristen?!"

"Yes? What's wrong dad you seem worried?"

"Natalie and Violet just called me."

"What did they say?!!"

"They asked me if I knew what you were hiding from them."

"Shit! What did you say!!!"

"I said 'Yes I know but I'm not telling you. It's not important.'"

"What did they say?!"

"It has to be important since you, my mom, and my dad won't tell us!!!"

"And you said?!"

"Um I have to go. Bye love you guys."

"I just don't want them to know yet."

"You need to tell them soon."

"I don't want them to know that I had them at 16. I don't want them to know that they were basically an accident. And worst of all, I don't want Violet to know she's following in my footsteps."

"You and Liam have to tell them. You knew this day was would come."

"Ugh dad I don't know what I'm gonna do! I'm not ready to tell them."

"Maybe you should tell them after Violet has her daughter."

"That's what I was thinking.."

"Or tell them now."

"You know what. Maybe we should. We can't keep this from them anymore."

"Do it now. Call me after you do."

"Alright bye dad."

I hang up my phone and put it in my pocket. I pick up Isabelle and go upstairs where Liam was. When I got upstairs I went to my room and put Isabelle in her crib and sat next to Liam on the bed. "We need to tell them now." "Why now?!" "They called my dad and started asking he knew. We have to tell them." "Okay let's get them in here." "Okay." "Natalie! Violet!" Liam screams and Natalie and Violet come into our room. "Yes dad?" Violet says. "We have to tell you something." "What is it?" "Sit down." I say and they both sit on the bed. "Violet remember in the car when I said what I said but stopped mid sentence?" "Yes why?" "What I was gonna say was 'Grandpa didn't disown mom when she got pregnant with you guys'" "Why would grandpa disown mom for getting pregnant with us?" "Because I got pregnant with you guys at 16." "WHAT?!?" Natalie screams as she stands up. "Basically I'm following in your footsteps huh? Is this why you guys cried when I told you? Huh? You guys weren't upset with the fact I got pregnant! You were upset with the fact I'm following in moms footsteps!" Violet says crying. "No no honey. We weren't upset that you're following in my footsteps!" "Sure seems like it! Why would you keep this a secret from us!!!" "We didn't want you to know. We didn't know how to tell you. Please don't be mad at us. Violet when you have your daughter you're gonna have to tell her you had her at a young age." "Well duh but I'm not gonna hid it from her for 17 almost 18 years!" Violet screams as she gets up from the bed and runs out well waddles out of our room. "I'll go talk to her." Liam says as he follows her out of the room. Natalie looks at me. "Why would you hid this from us?!" "Natalie we were gonna tell you when you guys were 6. But then we had Andrew and it totally slipped our minds. Please don't be mad at us." "I'm not mad at you mom." Natalie says as she gives me a hug. Now I just have to wait til Liam is done talking to Violet.
