Chapter 25

Chapter 25: Andrew's POV

I'm in the car going to hospital. I hate hospitals more than ever. I just can't stand them. I wasn't always afraid of them. I became afraid of them when my mom almost died.. The car ride was silent until my mom broke it. "Andrew exactly how did you hurt your arm?" "Uh.. I tripped in your heals..." I say and my mom starts laughing. "Oh my god. I wonder what the doctors are gonna say when we tell them that." "NOO!!! Don't say that! Can't you just say I tripped down the stairs?" "I was gonna do that anyway Andrew." My dad says as he pulls into the hospital parking lot. We get out of the car and walk into the hospital. "May I help you?" The kind nurse says. "Yes my son tripped and fell down the stairs and landed on his arm and he can't move it. We think he broke it." My dad says. "Alright. The doctor will be with you soon. What's his name?" "Andrew Payne." "Alright we will call you when the doctor is ready." She says and my mom and dad nod and we sat down and waited for the doctor. My arm really hurts. I don't even know how I could even break it by falling in heals.. "Andrew Payne?" The nurse says. "Yes?" "The doctors ready for you." She says and my dad nods his head. We all follow the nurse to this room that had spongebob characters painted on the walls. I sat down on the table thing and waited for the doctor to come him. About 10 mins went by until he came in. "Alright what happened?" "Uhh.. I fell down the stairs.." "Does your arm hurt when you move it?" "Yes very!! I can't even move it." "Does it hurt when I touch it?" The doctor says as he touches my arm. And I scream. "OWW!! YES!!!" "Alright. It might be broken we gotta take x-rays." The doctor says. I nod my head and follow him to the x-ray room. They put my arm on this metal thingy and take the x-rays. After they take the x-rays I go back to the room and sit on my moms lap. About 30 mins later the doctor comes back with the x-rays. "Alright. His arm is broken. But the bone that he broke is also cracked. So he's gonna have to wear the cast for 3 months. Let's put the cast on now." The doctor says. I get up from my moms lap and follow the doctor into this room. "Lay your arm down here." The doctor says and I put my arm on the table. "What color cast do you want?" "Green." "Alright." The doctor says as he grabs this thingy and starts to put the cast on my arm. After he put the cast on I went back to the room. The doctor explained how after 2 months I have to get a different cast on. My parents thank the doctor and we go back to the car and drive home. "I can't believe you broke your arm and cracked the bone by falling in your mothers heals." My dad says laughing. "I did fall right on my arm daddy." "I'm just kidding." My dad says as he pulls into the driveway. I get out of the car and go straight to Violets room.
