Chapter 40: Jacks POV

"That's was amazing Jack." My mom says handing me Emily and I sit down next my mom. "W-What?" "I heard the conversation. Well the part when you called him a douchebag and the part where you called him a pussy." "Oh.. You heard me.." "Yes and that was amazing. I don't know why he would even have the guts to show up after 19 years." "I know mom. He wanted to see Emily.." "Is that why you snapped?" "Yes.. That just made me mad mom. He just came back to my life and he has the nerve to ask to see my daughter? I barely know him!" "I know Jack. He was never really your father. John is your real dad if you think about it. You thought he was for 13 years." "I really wish he was my real dad. I mean I do call him dad." "I know Jack. I'm glad I met him when you were a baby. He's wonderful. He helped me raise you." "I know mom." I say looking at Emily. She then closes her little eyes, I move her hair from her forehead and kiss her forehead. I look up and my mom is smiling at me. "Like I said earlier, you are a wonderful dad Jack." She says as she kisses me on my forehead and stands up and leaves the living room. I then put Emily in her little play pin/crib thingy and grab my phone to text Violet to see if she's up from her nap.

To: Violet❤

Are you up yet?

From: Violet❤

Yes😜 when do you want me to pick up Emily?

To: Violet❤

Actually, can you spend the night tonight?

From: Violet❤

Yes my dad said that's fine 😜 I'll be over soon.

To: Violet❤

Yay!

I then lock my phone and put it on the coffee table and wait for Violet to come over. I grab the remote and watch tv. About 15 mins into watching tv there was a knock at the door. I get up up from the couch and answer it. It was Violet. "Took you long enough." "Shut up." She says an then she turns around and waves goodbye to her dad. She then walks in. "Where's Emily?" "Living room, she's asleep tho." "Okay." Violet says as she puts her stuff on the floor and goes to the living room and Emily's wide awake laying in crib thingy. "Liar! You said she was sleeping!" "She was!!" I say and Violet sticks her tongue at me and walks over to Emily. "Mommy's here!" She says as she picks up Emily and kisses her. "Mommy missed you." She says holding her very tightly. "Well daddy enjoyed being with her." I say laughing and Violet smiles at me. I then notice Emily close her eyes. I look at the clock and it's 10. "Maybe we should put her to bed." I say and Violet nods and puts Emily in the crib and puts a blanket on her and then goes on the chair and ends up falling asleep. So I then decide to go to bed myself.

A/N: Ah it's been so long since I updated. Sorry Dx I've been busy.. Like on Wednesday I went to Kennywood (it's an amusement park) I had a lot of fun but guysssssss I'm really iffy on the thunderbolt and I told my friends I would go on and I ended up closing my eyes, grabbing my friends arm, squeezing it, and screaming in his ear. I left marks on his arm.. I felt so bad I still do D: he said he didn't care but I just feel so bad !
