Chapter 18: Violets POV

*A month later*

I'm 6 months pregnant now and I just want her out of me. I can't take having this big stomach anymore. I have 4 more months til my due date. Anyway, today is me and Jacks 1 year anniversary since we started dating. He wants to take me out but I don't really want to go anywhere. He's been texting me asking me asking what place I want to go but I keep telling him I don't want to go anywhere. Then he just gave up texting me. I was in room watching spongebob when my phone started to go off. I grab it from my dresser and see that it's Jack. I smile and answer it.

"Hello?"

"Are you sure you don't want to go anywhere?"

"I'm positive."

"Give me a good reason why you don't want too."

"I don't feel good. I feel fat and icky and I just don't feel like it."

"Will you at least come to my house and we can watch movies? My mom, my dad, and Jaime are going to Jaime's school play. So I'm gonna be home alone."

"Depends. Can we watch safe haven?"

"Fine."

"Yay!!!!"

"I'll pick you up at 6."

"Alright."

I hang up my phone and put it back on my dresser. I look at the clock and it's 5:30. Damn that means I gotta get up and get ready. I walk over to my closet and grab a pair of yoga pants and a t-shirt. After I get dress I grab my Vera Bradley bag and put safe haven in it. I grab my phone and go downstairs. "Daaadddy!!" I scream. "Violet I'm right here. I swear that baby is making you blind." "Well sorry!" "What do you need?" "I'm going to Jacks. He's picking me up at 6." "Alright. You need to be home by 11." "Okay." I say and then the doorbell rings. "I'll get it!" I say walking towards the door. I answer it and it's Jack. "Ready?" "Yes." "Hi Mr. Payne." "Hello Jack. Have Violet home by 11." "Alright." Jack says. "Bye daddy." I say hugging my dad and then I walk outside to Jacks car. I got into the car and Jack started to drive. "Violet?" "Yes?" "We need to figure out a name for our daughter." "I told you I like the name Phoenix." "We aren't naming her Phoenix!" "Why!!!!!!" "Because that's not a name for a human." "Ugh. What name do you like then?" "I like the names Emily, Isabella, Paige, or Lily." "Well we can't name her Isabella." "Why?" "Because my sisters name is Isabelle." "Oh yeah I forgot." "Do you have any other names you like?" "I like Emily, Paige, Lily, or Kendall." "Hmm. I think Emily is pretty." "Then let's name her Emily." "Can we make her middle name Phoenix?" "Maybe." "Ugh fine." "Well it's settled we are naming her Emily." Jack says as he pulls into his driveway. We get out of the car and go into his house. We went into his living room and sat on the couch. "I brought my copy of Safe Haven." "Do we really have to watch that. I want to watch mama." "OH HELL TO THE FUCKING NO!!! I saw that movie with my dad and I couldn't sleep for 4 days. I made him sleep in my room." "What about Insidious?" "THAT'S EVEN WORST!!!!!!!!! My uncle Niall made me and Amanda watch that and I ended up jumping on top of him!" "How about Dark Skies?" "NO! Let's watch Safe Haven!" "Ugh I don't want to watch Safe Haven Violet." "It's not that bad!" "Let's watch Toy Story 3." "I've seen that movie way to much." "Why?" "My dad LOVES that movie." "Then let's watch Warm Bodies. It's a horror/romantic movie so we'll both get what we want to watch." "Ugh fine." I say whining. Jack then gets up from the couch and puts the DVD in. He comes back to the couch and starts the movie. I put my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arms around me. The movie wasn't that bad. I kinda like it. I'm enjoying it so far. Nothing scary has happened so far. But then all of a sudden these skeleton people pop out. "AHH!!!" I scream and burry my head into Jack. "You're a baby." "I don't like scary movies." "This isn't scary." "That one part was!" "Man up." "You're mean." "I love you!" Jack says as he kisses me on the cheek. "I love you too." I say as I re put my head on his shoulder. We continue to watch the movie. Half way thru the movie Emily started to kick. This is the first time she has kicked. "JACK!" "What?!" "Give me your hand!!" "Um why?!" "Just give me your hand!" "Um okay?!" "HURRY!" "I am geez!" He says as he stretches out his hand. I grab and it and put it on my stomach. He looks up and gives me this weird look. "What am I feeling...?" "Emily's kicking!" "It feels so weird. But then again it's awesome feeling my daughter kicking." Jack says smiling. "It's the first time she's kicking too." "I really hope she'll be a daddy's girl." "She probably is going to be one." "You're right. She's your daughter." "What's that suppose to mean!!!" "Violet you're the biggest daddy's girl I've ever meet." "Am not." "Violet.. When you have panic attacks you won't let your dad leave your side. You're a huge daddy's girl." "Whatever! I'm proud to be one." I say crossing my arms. We then continued to watch the movie. When the movie was over it was around 9. And I had to be home at 11. "Can we watch Safe Haven now?" "Fine." "Yay!!!" I scream as I grab my bag and take out the movie. I hand it to Jack and he gets up and puts it in and pushes play. He comes back to the couch. I put my head on his shoulder again and he put his hand on my stomach and starts to rub it. After the movie was over. It was 10:50. That means I have to go home. Jack takes the movie out and hands it to me. I put it back in my bag, then we went to his car. When I got home I went straight up to my room to go to bed. Every time I tried to sleep Emily would kick. I ended up going to bed at 4:40 am.
