First Kiss [Percico]

New one shot. Yes, it is fluffy. Don't worry. No death shall occur. I'm making a lot of cute oneshots... maybe I should start shaking it up again... Headcanon at top^ and thanks so much for 2K!!!!! Proper note to be posted shortly.

Percy and Nico were cuddled up on the couch of their shared apartment. They were reminiscing about memories when Nico pointed out one about their first kiss.

Percy laughed, a deep, mellifluous sound. "Oh yeah. That was hilarious!"

-Flashback-

Nico was in his bed snuggled up and tangled in his thick blankets even though it was summer. Apparently children of Hades are naturally cold. Anyways, he was having a nice rest in a long while despite it being around 3 in the afternoon when a loud knock resonated throughout the cabin.

"NICO! ARE YOU IN THERE?!" Percy's loud voice was heard from behind the door. The son of Hades shot upright in the bed and was surprised as the door burst open that he fell on the floor, still tangled in his bedsheets.

The Sea Prince looked frantically for Nico after hearing the thud before his sea green eyes landed on the heap of blankets on the floor, housing the one and only Nico di Angelo. His eyes were blank for a moment before Percy burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter, falling to his knees and clutching his sides.

Nico, although his face was bright red, grumbled, "Yeah, yeah, Jackson, laugh all you want. What are you doing here?" The Ghost King was not amused at being awakened and then being humiliated in front of his crush.

Percy was oddly silent, however, and when Nico looked over at him, he found the son of Poseidon staring at him. Nico shifted uncomfortably before looking down and finding that he was only in his boxer shorts.

The son of Hades turned bright red again and yelled at Percy, who seemed to be out of his daze, to get out of his cabin so he could change. Percy smirked before exiting Cabin 13.

Rummaging through his drawers, he could find no black shirts and pulled out his standard issued Camp Half-Blood shirt. Wrinkling his nose in disgust at the bright color, he pulled it on along with a pair of black skinny jeans. Nico hung his sword at his waist before smoothing out his hair as best he could.

When Nico exited the cabin into the warm summer sun, he could see Percy waiting patiently for him. The son of Poseidon was playing with a small water ball that quickly lost form when he saw Nico in the bright orange shirt. His mouth was hanging open as Nico grumbled, with a bright blush on his face (how many times had Nico blushed in the last hour?), "Yeah, yeah, Jackson. I couldn't find any black shirts, so this is all I had."

Percy snapped out of his daze and said, "Well come on and walk with me, then."

They walked and talked for a while before the topic came to crushes and who liked who. Percy sounded like a teenage girl when he said, "I heard Connor asked Will out a while ago, and they came out together yesterday." (STOLLACE 4 LIFE)

Nico chuckled a bit, before asking, "And you? How has the break up been?" Percy and Annabeth had broken up just a few weeks ago, but each half had been on a slow, but steady healing process. Annabeth had wanted to move to New Rome already, but Percy had disagreed. The daughter of Athena ended up moving anyways after a long argument that ended with their relationship breaking.

A personal question, you might think, but Percy had turned to Nico for comfort after the breakup. "Good," Percy replied, "It still hurts sometimes, you know, but I think I'm almost over it. Not completely, but at least I won't be hurting."

Nico nodded in understanding, even though he had never been in a relationship or breakup before. "I actually think," Percy continued, "that I've moved on... to someone else. But that's for another time."

Nico was shocked, but nonetheless let it go. Life hates me. Why am I not surprised? Nico thought bitterly. Percy suddenly adopted a sly smile that did not promise good things for the son of Hades.

"What about you Nico? Find anybody that interests you?" The Ghost King choked on air, as he stuttered out, "I- I do not, Ja- Jackson!" Once again, Nico found himself with a crimson red blush that painted his cheeks.

Percy mock gasped and said, "You do! Who is it?" The son of Poseidon was practically up in Nico's face, swirling green eyes bright with excitement. Nico was a bit more sturdy with his answer and said, "Nobody."

Percy looked fake hurt and grasped his chest dramatically, falling over in Nico's arms. "How dare you lie to me, Nico! I thought we were friends!" Friends... Of course that's all I am to him.

"Nobody, Percy." Nico growled through gritted teeth. He was becoming increasingly agitated with Percy's insistence about the touchy subject.

"C'mon, Nico! You can tell me! I won't tell anyone! I swear!"

"Telling someone else is not what I'm afraid of! It's who it is!"

The two "friends" argued all throughout the camp and found themselves in the forest, the monsters being driven away by the angry black and blue mini storms surrounding the children of the Big Three.

Finally, Nico had had enough of this petty fight and yelled, "Do you really want to know who I have a crush on?!"

Before the Sea Prince could retort, he found his lips being captured by the son of Hades', who had to tiptoe to get to him. Percy found himself enjoying the kiss from his new crush, and pulled Nico back after the Ghost King had begun to break the kiss.

When they finally did let go, Nico was starry-eyed and mumbled with another bright red blush adorning his pale cheeks, "There. It was you."

Percy laughed at his obvious discomfort and said, "Yeah, my crush was on you too. So..." Percy was suddenly nervous, "boyfriends?"

Nico, although being taken aback, agreed. "Yes." And so, they kissed again. ;)

-Flashback End-

The two were still on the couch but were now laughing their heads off, enjoying the memory in all its hilarious glory.

But, while being one of the silliest memories imaginable for a first kiss, it was also an endearing one as well.

So, what did you think? No death, as I promised! :) *mumble* that might not last, though.

Ahem.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this cute one-shot about their first kiss. I personally thought it was adorable. Too bad I haven't had my first kiss yet. #ForeverAlone
