ZAYN'S P.O.V.

Lying and betraying are two different things. Although, if defined carefully, they can have the same meaning.

Creating a false or misleading impression. That's lying. Failing or deserting in time of need is betraying. Lying can be a form of betraying. You can use it as a strategy to mislead people into thinking you were actually in their side and desert them when they needed nothing but your trust.

It was one thing to be lied to. It was another thing to be betrayed. I was still trying to figure out which one I prefer: to be lied to or to be betrayed.

It took a while for everything to process but, even then, I didn't want to believe it. I refused to believe it. What did he think he was going to accomplish if he did those? Did he just assume that I would move on from Perrie? And if Castle had sued them, would that make him happy? When the paps showed up at Vegas Strip, did he think she was going to stop helping because of the mishap?

Then everything clicked.

"You don't want me to be with Perrie..." My voice drifted off as I stared into the watery eyes of Harry Styles. I didn't even feel the slightest bit of penitence. What he did and why he did them was just too much. "Don't you?" I pierced my stare at him for him to admit.

He finally opened his mouth and out came a voice that wasn't Harry's. It was lower and more hoarse and displeasing to the ear. I wanted to strangle him right then and there. "No," he shook his head in disagreement. "I'm not jealous or anything--"

"This isn't about jealousy and you know it!" My voice raised, causing the two others to realize the commotion. I ducked and lowered my voice into a whisper. Barely, even. "You don't think I deserve her." We remained taciturn and silent. When he tried to say something after the few seconds of silence which felt like eons, the interviewers arrived.

They wasted no time as they slipped on their headsets and talked with brilliant speed once the On-Air light was switched on. For the whole of the interview, I tried to remain quite distant from Harry but not so much as for the listeners to notice, but why should I have bothered? They would've noticed anyway and develop some theory as to why.

When it ended, Harry grabbed me by the wrist. I thrashed it so hard because I didn't want to be within five miles of this guy. "Don't tell her," he said, sounding like himself again but, for some unknown reason, it made me loathe him even more. "Please." I didn't want to look at him.

If I did, I knew I would feel sorry for him. But, unfortunately, I made eye contact with him and even more unfortunately, I nodded. He heaved of relief and I swiped my arm off of his death grip. I just wanted to get through this day with him and let tomorrow bother with the next several years.

DAY 7

At one in the morning, someone was unceasingly knocking the door to my hotel room. I lightly kicked Niall, who was sleeping next to me, to get the door Maits much groaning and complaints, he got up. "Oh, hey!" I heard him say, suddenly perking up. "We don't have to leave 'till four, you know."

"I know." It was the voice of the girl. "Wake up, Zayn!" She yelled as she clapped her hands repeatedly.

I pressed Niall's pillow on my face to muffle the sounds. "What for?" I wailed. "Another interview?" I felt her sit next to me on the bed. "We're going on an adventure!" She screamed in delight.

KLOE'S P.O.V.

Once I gathered the lads (bathed, dressed and all), I started to answer all of their questions they were asking nonstop. "Okay, the reason why I woke you is because I'm taking you guys out," I announced as we stood in the parking lot of the hotel. "No questions. No thinking. No caring about anything other than making this day a fun one."

Liam started to worry. "What about the int--?" I raised a finger at him. "No questions. Get in the car." They merely shrugged as they filled in the seats of Harry's car. I stopped Harry who was getting in the driver's seat.

"Let me," I told him. He gave me a worried look. "Do you even know how to drive?" He asked, backing away as for me to get inside.

"What's there to know?" I smirked before hopping in and backing up the car. I could see more that one of the boys at the back say a silent prayer. Niall was beside me on shotgun. After about an hour of traveling, we reached our destination. The lads were confused, but preferred not to question me.

We were at the foot of a mountain. "Come on guys!" I ran towards it. It was freezing cold and I was wearing nothing thicker than a hoodie and shorts. My shoes weren't for hiking and neither were the boys' but we didn't complain. "Hurry! We might miss it!"

"Miss what?" I heard Zayn ask from behind me, but nobody answered him, not even me. I wanted to surprise them.
