KLOE'S P.O.V.
DAY 18
The tickets were easy to buy. We had six V.I.P. tickets reserved online with meet-and-greet tickets for the lads as well as myself. Claiming the tickets was the hard part. After the interviews, Niall and I tried to go out of the studio before their Teen Vogue phototshoot to claim our tickets but the guards wouldn't let us out. "It's too dangerous," one of them said, "There are girls crowding the building already."
"You have to stay in here until the shoot is over," the other one ordered.
Like it wasn't even a minor setback, Niall nodded and turned around. "What are we gonna do now?" I whispered to him as we walked away. He didn't answer. Instead, he whipped out his phone and speedily texted Zayn. 'Everythings going according to plan'
What did he mean by that?
Niall lead me to the back entrance which was nothing more extravagant than an alley with dumpsters and a metal fence separating us from the outside world. "Come on," he told me as he clung onto the wires with his fingers and locked in his feet in a gap. He was climbing over the fence. When I didn't move, he encouraged me again. "Come on!"
He didn't need to ask me a third time. I followed exactly as he was doing even though I knew this wasn't going to turn out pretty. Gosh, this was more exciting than I expected it to be. "I can't believe I'm actually sneaking out of a studio," I took a moment to feel giddy from the situation, "And disobeying security and trying to seem inconspicuous to passers-by. This is so awesome," I added.
An exhale-laugh escaped from Niall's lips as he swung over the fence and dropped his feet to the ground with a thud. More thrilled than nervous for having to follow up to that, I sat on the top of the fence for a while. "The view from here is beautiful," I grinned at nothing. "You can see everything from up here?"
"Really?"
"No," I laughed, looking down at Niall who was roughly eight feet below me. "Man, you are gullible. The only thing I see from here is the narrow road leading to the streets and you."
"Well, then, the view is great," he flashed his braces cheekily before holding out his arm. "Jump," he ordered. "I'll catch you, don't worry."
"I'm worried," I told him. "I was just admiring the splendor of my view." With eyes shut tight, I squealed as I pushed myself off the fence and into Niall's arms. To be honest, when I listened to One Thing, I never really pictured myself falling into his arms instead but I did feel like I could just die and lay in there forever.
But we were on a mission.
"Operation: Watch Little Mix has officially begun," I joked as Niall dropped me to the ground. "Phase 1: Sneak out of the studio."
"Check," Niall played along with me. "Phase 2: Pull up your hood."
"What?" I was expecting him to say "get a cab" or something.
He walked to stand behind me. I could feel Niall's warm breath at the back of my head as he gathered my hair and draped it to the side, over my shoulder. He then threw on the hood of my jacket and hugged me by the waist to zip the hoodie up all the way from behind. "There you go," he said, grinning contentedly. "Now hardly anyone will recognize you." I smiled back. "Now let's go!" Niall yelled excitedly.
"Wait wait wait, hold up," I stopped him at his tracks.
"What?"
"Why aren't you incognito?" I asked, thinking this was unfair that I had to wear a hood and a jacket while it was a morning with sunshine which was a miracle during this time of the year. I actually wanted to take off the hoodie and drench my exposed skin in the sun before Niall had to cover me up like I was practicing to be a nun.
