Christmas Eve

Seungcheol's POV

It's now Christmas Eve and all the boys are thankfully getting along great. No grudges held. All hatchets buried. Thank God.

We're celebrating Christmas at Jeonghan's place today because tomorrow we want to be able to spend time with our families. But, Winter insisted that I let her go to her friend's house today so now I have to take care of Kaden. Jeonghan told me it was ok if I bring him over but I just hope he doesn't crave too much attention or embarrasses me in front of him.

"Where are we going?" asked Kaden, walking next to me, grabbing my hand.

"We're going to my friend's house." I said.

"Who's house?" asked Kaden.

"Jeonghan's." I said.

"But I don't know Jeonghan." said Kaden.

"Well you're about to meet him." I said. "Plus Mingyu's going to be there, and Wonwoo, and Seungkwan, oh and Jun. I know how much you like Jun."

"Yay! Junnie hyung will be there." cheered Kaden happily. I picked him up off the ground and carried him to Jeonghan's house.

"Oh! Oh! Can I ring the doorbell? Pleeeeeeease?" asked Kaden, pulling on the sleeve of my arm.

"Go ahead." I said, laughing at the little boy. I picked him up so he could reach the bell and he rang it excitedly. Seconds later, who I assumed to be Jeonghan's appa opened the door.

"Hello. I'm Jeonghan's appa." he confirmed my suspicion. "Come in."

"I'm Seungcheol. This is my brother, Kaden." I said, walking in.

"Oh, so you're that Seungcheol kid I've heard about." said Jeonghan's appa.

"Jeonghan talks about me?" I asked, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Well, he's mentioned you." he said. "They're in the living room. I think you're the last to arrive. I'm pretty I last counted twelve of them."

"Thank you." I said, bowing and leading Kaden to the living room. "Hey guys."

"Hey!" they all said in unison. I went to sit between Jun and Mingyu, facing Jeonghan and Joshua.

"Kaden!" said Jun, picking Kaden up and plopping him down on his lap.

"So this is Kaden?" asked Jeonghan. I nodded. "Hey, little buddy. What do you want for Christmas?"

"I want a rocket ship. But hyung says Santa doesn't make rocket ships." said Kaden and Jeonghan smiled.

"What would you like instead?" asked Jeonghan.

"That's a secret." said Kaden. "Only Santa can know." Jeonghan raised an eyebrow at me.

"If you can get it out of him, I'll owe you my life." I whispered to him. He chuckled.

"Could I get a hint?" asked Jeonghan.

"Ummmm... It's not something you can wrap and give someone." said Kaden. "That's the only hint you get!" I frowned. What is he talking about?

"So only Santa can know?" asked Jeonghan. Kaden nodded. "What about his elves. Can they know?" Kaden thought for a moment then nodded. "Well lucky for you there's one right over there." said Jeonghan, pointing at Woozi. "Don't tell him I told you, though. He's undercover. Go tell him what you want." Kaden got up and enthusiastically ran towards Woozi. He jumped into his arms and sat on his lap, already talking. Woozi listened for a moment then sent a sharp glare towards Jeonghan who raised his hands in surrender.
