Seungcheol's POV
After yesterday's party, I had some thinking to do. Whether or not to join a group for pledis entertainment. I talked to Woozi about it and he said he'll wait about a year before agreeing to anything. He already called and told them so and they were totally cool about it. I think I'll do the same to be honest. I'm just not sure.
"Hey." said Jeonghan, walking into our room to see me deep in thought, lying on my mattress, staring at the ceiling. "Penny for your thoughts?" he asked, flicking a penny at me. I smiled at him. He was looking at me with his most innocent smile that I just love so much.
"I'm just having trouble deciding what to do about pledis." I admitted. Jeonghan approached and laid down next to me on my mattress. He found his way under the blanket with me.
At this point my heart was pounding in my chest. I could feel Jeonghan's hesitation as he slowly wrapped an arm around my waste and placed his other arm on my chest. My rested his head on my chest as well as I wrapped an arm around his shoulders to being him closer. He hesitantly touched my leg with his foot bur went no further than that. My head was practically spinning.
"You don't have to make a decision yet." said Jeonghan. "Like Woozi. He's not sure what to do either, so he's going to finish high school first. I personally think that's a good idea. You should do that too."
"I don't think it's fair." I said honestly.
"What's not fair?" he asked.
"With all the talent in that room. Everyone had great vocals. We're all great performers. Woozi and I aren't the only ones with potential to 'become somebody' like that guy put it." I said. "I want you guys to succeed also. It's not fair that only Woozi and I were called into that office."
"It's ok, Seungcheol." said Jeonghan. He tightened his grip on my waste, so I did the same with my grip on his shoulders. "We'll find our own breaks. This is yours. Don't let it slip by."
I didn't say anything in reply. I just laid there, and listened to Jeonghan's breathing. I wrapped my other arm around him and locked my hands together behind his back. He moved his arms in more of a hugging position and we stayed like that for a while. Until his phone rang. He moved only slightly so he could answer and put the phone to his ear.
"Hello?" he said. I could only barely hear what the person on the other line was saying.
"The trip to Canada is in a week! It's the middle of Januaray. Which means it's winter. How many coats do you think I should bring?" said the other person. I smiled, assuming it was obviously one of our friends.
"Just bring the one you have. It's fine. I hear it's not that cold where we're going." said Jeonghan.
"Don't be so sure. There wasn't any snow where we're going before but there was a snow storm there not long ago." I said.
"So I should bring a lot o coats?" asked the confused and slightly panicky voice through the phone.
"No matter how many coats you bring, Dino, you won't be able yo wear them all at once." said Jeonghan.
"If it's cold, I'll find a way." said Dino. I chuckled lightly. "Do you guys mind if Hoshi, Jun, Minghao, and I come over later? We want to finish the choreography for our dance project but there's only enough space for that at your place."
"So that's why you really called." said Jeonghan.
"Pleeeeease?" said Dino.
"Fine, I'll move the coffee tables around and make some room for you." said Jeonghan.
