Happy Ending

Seungkwan's POV

I sat next to Vernon on my bed back home. He came over again today but he was acting really awkward. He seemed nervous which was making me nervous. I looked at him as he stared at the floor, avoiding my gaze.

"Vernon." I said.

"Yeah?" he asked, keeping his eyes on the floor.

"Goddammit! Look at me!!" I said. Vernon looked up at me with a worried expression. "What the fuck is wrong with you? It's been a week since you've started acting like this. You try your best not to look at me, you avoid hanging out with me, and you make me do all the talking. What's going on with you?" I ranted. Vernon looked me in the eyes, for the first time in a while. He opened his mouth but closed it again, then shook his head.

"Nothing." he said, shaking his head. I rolled my eyes and flopped down on my back on the bed. I laid there for a few seconds before I heard Vernon moving around from where he was sitting. He laid down on my chest and I wrapped my arms around him.

"Why can't you tell me what's bothering you?" I asked. I waited for a response but Vernon only sighed and buried his face in the crook of my neck. "Look at me." I said, more softly this time. He looked up at me and I saw something in his eyes I've never seen before. Longing. "What's going on?"

Vernon didn't answer. He simply leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss on my lips. In that moment I knew why Vernon was acting so weird. I knew why he was avoiding my gaze. He liked me. All this time he's liked me and I was completely oblivious to it. Now I feel like an idiot.

Vernon buried his head in the crook of my neck once again and I tightened my grip around.

Seungcheol's POV

Jeonghan and I invited everyone over to watch a movie. This time they were actually invited. One by one, they started arriving. I was mildly surprised when Seungkwan and Vernon walked in, hand in hand. When he looked down, blushing, I smiled at them.

We all gathered around the tv and started the movie when everyone was here.

"So. We have two gay couples in our group of friends now. That's cool." said Mingyu.

"I have a question." said Minghao.

"What?" asked Dokyum.

"How did this happen?" asked Minghao.

"Yeah, I feel like most of us are completely oblivious to what's been happening over the past few months." said Wonwoo.

"You are." said Jeonghan. I chuckled.

"You guys don't know the half of it." I said.

"I think we know even less about Seungkwan and Vernon." said Woozi.

"Yeah, that literally came out of nowhere." said Dino. We laughed.

"I don't know where it came from either, to be completely honest." said Seungkwan.

After the movie was over, we all just sat in a circle and talked. As we talked Jeonghan laid his head on my shoulder. I hugged him tightly and thought about everything that went down over the year.

We made the impossible happen by all becoming friends. Jeonghan made me move in to give me and my siblings a better life. We had a roller coaster ride getting where we are. And now look at us. He's my boyfriend. God, saying that will never get old.

I smiled and leaned my head against his. This was perfect. The year has been full of ups and downs but this right here, being surrounded by all my friends, leaning against my boyfriend, I never want this to change.

Angels and Devils.

Who would have thought.

I'm sorry for this crappy last chapter guys. I couldn't think of what to write.

But anyway, I had sooo much fun writing this story guys. This was my first jeongcheol/seventeen fic and I personally think it went really well!
