Vernon's Dilemma

Seungcheol's POV

It's Saturday and I'm laying on the couch in the living room watching one of Kaden's favourite tv shows with him. I smiled at how excited he got when he was singing along to the theme song, and how close he sat to the tv not wanting to miss a second of it. Jeonghan was talking with Winter on the other couch. I kept throwing nervous glances at them, hoping she wasn't talking about me. We were all calm and relaxed until the doorbell rang. Seeing as Jeonghan's eomma and appa weren't home, he stood up and went to the door. I heard it open and two muffled voices from the other room, and soon Jeonghan walked back into the living room, closely followed by Vernon. I frowned as he gave me a nervous look.

"Vernon, what are you doing here?" I asked, sitting up on the couch and placing my elbows on my knees.

"I need to talk to you." he said.

"It couldn't wait until school?" I asked. Suddenly, Seungkwan walked in and waved at me.

"Hey!" he said.

"Why are you both here?" I asked.

"Don't ask me." said Seungkwan, stepping forward and sitting next to me. "We were just hanging out at his place until he stood up, practically dragged me into his car, and drove is here. He keeps saying he needs to talk to you." I looked over at Vernon, who hadn't moved. Jeonghan went back to his seat next to Winter as I stood up.

"Come on." I said. "We'll go to my room."

Vernon followed me up the stairs. He didn't say a word the whole way up. Not even when we entered Jeonghan and I's room and I shut the door. He just sat on the bed and stared at the floor. I slowly approached him, hoping he would say something but it looked like I was going to have to be the one to ask questions.

"Are you ok?" I asked. Vernon kept his gaze firmly locked on the floor as he shook his head. He was avoiding my gaze and he only does that when he's either really upset and doesn't want to talk, or is about to cry and needs someone to talk to him. And seeing as he drove all the way over here I think he needs someone to talk to. I sat next to him on the bed and looked at the side of his head. "What's wrong? Did something happen?" Vernon shook his head again. "Then what is it?" Vernon took a few shaky breaths before speaking.

"I think... I think I- like Seungkwan." he said uncertainly. I looked at him with wide eyes, not exactly sure what to say. Why does he look so upset? That's great, isn't it?

"What's so bad about that?" I asked, confused.

"I'm not gay." he said surely.

"Maybe you're bi." I said.

"That's what I was thinking. But what about Seungkwan?" asked Vernon. "What if he rejects me? He's straight!"

"And here you were acting like me crushing on Jeonghan was any easier." I said sarcastically.

"Shut it. At least he's gay." said Vernon.

"Yeah but I still think it's more likely you and Seungkwan end up together than me and Jeonghan." I said.

"Fair enough." he said jokingly, as I punched his arm lightly, making him laugh a bit.

"Now, the way I see it, you have a few options here. Either you tell him and he returns your feelings and you live happily ever after, you tell him and he rejects you and you move on, or you don't tell him and let it eat you up inside." I said more seriously.

"I guess you picked the third option, huh?" he asked, with a raised eyebrow. I sighed. As much as I hate to admit it, he's right.

"Tell you what. I'll tell Jeonghan, as soon as you tell Seungkwan." I said.

"That's not faiiiiirrrrr." he whined.

"How is it not fair?" I asked.

"It would be much easier for you to do it first than for me. Besides, you've like Jeonghan longer than I've liked Seungkwan, so it's only fair if you go first." explained Vernon.

"That wasn't the deal." I said.

"What?" he said.

"Want something to eat?" I asked.

"Don't change the subject, you dick." said Vernon.

"Come on, lets go back downstairs and hang out with our prince charmings." I said, standing up.

"Are you implying that we're princesses?" asked Vernon with a smirk.

"Where's the lie?" I asked, and we both laughed. We went back downstairs, I sat in Winter's spot next to Jeonghan, which was now empty, and Vernon sat next to Seungkwan where I was sitting not long ago.

"You guys wanna stay here for a bit and watch a movie or something?" asked Jeonghan.

"What are we watching?" asked Seungkwan, who had already made himself comfortable.

"Whatever you guys want." said Jeonghan, grabbing the remote and going on Netflix.

"Oh! Do you know if 21 Jump Street is on there?" asked Vernon.

"Hold on." said Jeonghan. He clicked a few buttons and found the movie.

"Play it!" said Vernon excitedly, bouncing up and down like a kid.

"Everyone ok with that?" asked Jeonghan. Seungkwan and I nodded and he clicked play.

Jeonghan's back was facing me so he could look at the tv but I ended up staring at him instead of the movie. After a while I couldn't take it. I wanted physical contact with this angelic bitch. Is that too much to ask?

I grabbed his shoulders from behind him and pulled him into a laying position on my lap. He looked up at me and smiled, making me melt on the spot, as he looked back at the tv. I looked over at Vernon and Seungkwan.

Vernon was sitting on the edge of the couch, taking almost no space of it. Seungkwan laid across the rest of the couch, his back pressed against Vernon's side, but I didn't see him complaining. I smiled at them and locked my eyes onto the tv again.

Seungkwan's POV

I noticed this morning Vernon was acting really weird after I woke him up. And when he dragged us here, I knew something was up. But ever since he talked to Seungcheol, he seems fine. He keeps giving me these nervous smiles but other than that, I think he's back to normal. Or I hope.

Hey guys. So I decided to try out Verkwan, seeing as a lot of you liked the idea. Jeongcheol will still be my priority, but I'll add some Verkwan here and there just for you. If you don't like the idea I'm sorry. Jeongcheol is still number 1 tho and our story line will remain with them. That's it.

Oh and before now I was only into svt but me and my sister have decided to check out other bands. We started with BTS and can I just say Seokjin and Yoongi are 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 lol anyway next we're gonna try GOT7 but I wanted to know if you guys have any other suggestions for kpop bands. Girl bands included.

Before any of you say it, I don't wanna try EXO. I feel like they're too much for me. They're gonna leave me dead on the floor, clutching my phone with a picture of one of them on it. Maybe later😂
