Envy

Jeonghan's POV

I woke up and suddenly all the memories from yesterday came flowing back. Including Joshua and I's stupid fight. I rolled over and put my pillow over my head, wanting to forget again.

"Morning." I heard someone say from the floor. I looked and saw Seungcheol laying on a mattress on the floor. Oh yeah. I forgot.

"Morning, Seungcheol." I said, sitting up in my bed and rubbing my eyes.

"Sleep well?" he asked.

"Mhm." I mumbled.

"Do you smell that?" he asked.

"Means breakfast is ready." I said, smelling bacon from downstairs.

"Wanna go?" asked Seungcheol.

"You go." I said, laying back down and closing my eyes. "I'll be a minute."

"Come on, get up." he said, throwing his pillow at me as he got up himself. "I'll get bored without you."

"Fine." I said. I got out of bed and looked at him properly. He wasn't wearing a shirt and he was facing the other way. I noticed his back muscles and found myself staring. After a second I shook my head and rubbed my forehead.

"Come on." he said, throwing on a shirt and leaving the room. I followed him out, trying to ignore my little moment back there. I mean, wouldn't you stare? Like, back muscles are attractive, ok?

Later on, Seungcheol, Winter, Kaden, and I sat in the living room watching tv and talking. I really liked having them here. I was always sad about being an only child, I always felt lonely, but they've been here for a day as I already feel like I have a bigger family. Kaden is probably the most wonderful child in the world. Winter is amazingly hilarious and fun to be with. And Seungcheol... Well... Seungcheol's Seungcheol. He's cool, funny, cute... Yeah, he's kind of cute. Ok yeah he's really cute but hey I find lots of guys cute. On top of that, Winter's starting to like Kaden! I guess he ended up getting what he wanted in the end.

I looked over at Seungcheol who was cuddled up on the couch with a huge blanket, three pillows, and a hot chocolate. His sleeves covered his hands and held his hot chocolate with both hands like a little kid. I smiled at him. He looked so cute! Ok if I don't stop thinking like that I'll develop feelings for him. And I do not want to be crushing on a straight boy. It's the worst.

I looked away from him and locked my eyes back onto the movie we were watching. Suddenly I felt my phone buzz. I took it out of my back pocket and looked at the text.

Joshua:
hey ..

Jeonghan:
Outside?

Joshua:
Yeah

I shook my head and stood up, heading towards the door.

"Where are you going?" asked Seungcheol.

"I'll be right back." I said, as I grabbed a coat and went outside. I saw Joshua on the street again and went to join him.

"Hey." he said when he saw me. I folded my arms, trying to convince myself I wasn't cold.

"Hi." I said.

"Look, Jeonghan, I'm really sorry." he said. "You were right, I should trust you. You've never given me any reason to doubt you, and I'm sorry for thinking you'd start now. Seungcheol seems like a good guy and I just wanted to make sure he wouldn't hurt you. I'm really really sorry."

"It's ok." I said. "I'm sorry too. For snapping at you like that. We should have just talked about it like normal people. Sorry I got mad for no reason."
