Seungcheol's POV
It's December 14th and lots of us are starting to get along better. Including Joshua. He's starting to accept us, little by little. To say we're great friends now might be an overstatement but we're friends. Jeonghan and I are hanging out a lot, as are Hoshi and Dino, and Woozi and Mingyu. Right now, Jeonghan and I are on our way to our english class. We don't have english with Mingyu, Woozi, Hoshi, and Dino so we don't have the same projects to do. On our way, my math teacher stopped us.
"Jeonghan." she said. I expected her to want to talk to me because Jeonghan's not in any of her classes.
"Hey, Miss Gadoury." said Jeonghan.
"I need a favour." said Miss Gadoury.
"Yeah sure." said Jeonghan.
"I need you to tutor a couple of my students. There are no tutors in the school available at the moment and I really need one for them before finals." said Miss Gadoury. My eyes widened and I saw Jeonghan frown.
"But, Miss, I didn't think there was a tutoring program at this school." said Jeonghan.
"There always has been one." she said. I looked away, biting my lip, and I just knew Jeonghan was raising his eyebrows at me. "So what do you say?"
"I'll do it, Miss." said Jeonghan.
"Thank you!" she said, walking away. I kept my eyes on the floor as I felt him punch my shoulder.
"You lied to me!" he yelled.
"Well, sort of." I said, rubbing my forearm.
"Did you even need a tutor?" he asked, folding his arms.
"No. Not really." I said.
"Woooow." said Jeonghan, rolling his eyes. "Lets go, we'll be late. Miss Crooks is going to be mad."
Thank God he didn't ask why I lied...
Minghao's POV
I walked into my foreign language class with my arms so full of books I couldn't see where I was going. I tried to maneuver my way to my desk but couldn't seem to find my way. Right when my arms were about to give up, someone grabbed half of my books and placed them down on my desk.
"Might wanna watch it with the overdue library books, Minghao. I don't think you have enough money to pay all these off." said Jun, sitting on my desk, next to my books.
"These aren't library books." said Minghao.
"What are they?" asked Jun.
"French dictionaries." I said.
"Why so many?" he asked. I pointed at the sign that our teacher posted at the front of the class.
"Pas d'anglais aujourd'hui." the sign said.
"Oh shit." he mumbled.
Everyone once in a while, Monsieur Goudreau would put a sign at the front of the class that said 'pas d'anglais aujourd'hui' which means 'no english today'. Basically we're not aloud to speak any english during the whole period. If ever we're warned ahead by another student or a staff member, we always have to come prepared with as many dictionaries and french sources as we can.
"I didn't know." said Jun.
"Neither did I. Woozi was in this class a few minutes ago talking to Mr Goudreau and noticed the sign. I think I'm the only one who came prepared." I said.
"Fuck." mumbled Jun, as Mr Goudreau entered the class.
"Bonjour, classe. Comment-allez vous aujourd'hui?" he asked.
