I awoke next to a  Luke with a smug smile across his pink cheeks. "Were you watching me sleep?" I asked barely awake, but somehow with an eyebrow raised.

"Maybe." He smiled cheekily. "I'm not saying I was, but if I were I'd ask you if you knew how beautiful you are when you're asleep."

I didn't answer him, instead I gave off an angry-shy smile. "Just tell me the time loser." I laughed.

"It's should be about tenish, I check a minute ago."

"Shit. Has my mum been here-" I was interrupted by a voice at the door.

"Morning love. I just heard voice and came up to check on you, also had something to tell you." My mum said at my door. I don't think she saw Luke though, because she didn't mention anything.

"Morning. Um, nope. Just me. I was... I was talking to myself. Yeah myself." I said in a rush.

"Oh, then that young man must've been talking to himself too. Good morning Luke." She said popping her head in by the door.

"Morning Mrs. Simpson." Luke greeted shyly, but ashamed.

"We um... just."

"You didn't-" She started.

"Eeew! No mum. Gross. He just spent the night." I cringed. "We're just..." I stopped to looked at Luke with memories of the night before flash past my eyes. He gave me the same look back. "We're just friends." I finished with no emotion.

"Oh, okay. Next time just warn or tell me and we can sort out the guest room for him."

"Yeah sorry mum." I apologised. "So what was it you wanted to tell me?"

"Oh, you've got a visitor." She said on her way out.

"Wait, who?" I asked. I hadn't invited anyone over.

"Um, a curly brunette. Kind of cute." She said raising her eyebrow up and down. I could feel Luke's hand through the comforter clenching into a fist.

"Oh." Could it be H-

"He's in the kitchen, I'll send him up.

Before I could yell "No! Wait." she was out the door and already halfway down the stairs."She wouldn't really send someone up  here when I'm in still in bed." I told Luke.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think so."

*Knock-knock* I heard at my door.

"Jess." I heard the familiar Birmingham accent call out as my door creaked open, followed the little curly rascal dressed in black.

"Brad." I said trying to sound enthusiastic, but it came out sounding all awkward. You know, with Luke and all lying next to me... in my bed.

"Oh... Was I interrupting anything?" Brad said shocked, but sadly.

"Uh... no. I was just leaving mate. She's all yours." Luke said  embarrassed, but glumly as he got up and put on his pants. He was wearing boxers.

"Talk to you tomorrow?" I said with a look of significance. "And tell me when your jaw get's better. Okay?"

"Yeah, talk to you tomorrow." He said as he exited through the window.

"Is he... I mean are you-"

"No." I laughed.

He sighed with relief.  "Oh thank goo-" He stopped before he could finish and just smiled.

"So what the hell are you doing here?" I said getting up to put on my hoodie (oops, Luke's hoodie).

"What cam I say? I... I missed you." He mumbled.
