\Leon\
"Cut!"
Leon's former scowl turns into a wide grin at the director's words. It's finally a wrap. He's been on this set for almost four months and today was his last day of shooting. He couldn't be happier. Now he has time to sit back relax, maybe take a little holiday-
"That was great Leon." Andres, his manager, says once he has walked into his dressing room.
"Thanks, man. I'm glad we're finally done. I was thinking of flying out to Malibu, relaxing in the summer sun-"
"I wouldn't get to use to the idea." Andres cuts him off. Leon looks at him confused.
"Why not, we are done aren't we? I finally have some time off."
"While that is indeed true, you've also been offered a job. It's going to be a big movie and I was surprised when I got the call this morning. He wants you to work on it right away." Andres chatters excitedly.
"Now hold on. I was just given my break and here you are telling me I have another job offer?"
"Uh-huh."
"Well I refuse." Andres looks appalled.
"But Leon, it could be your next big break. This movie is supposed to be the next blockbuster. Now I realize that you've been working on a movie for four months and want to relax, but think about it. This could be the opportunity of a lifetime." Leon takes a moment to consider it. Andres does have a point, if this movie is the next blockbuster, it could mean a step up on the food chain.
He's already a pretty big deal in the movie world, starring in various films since he was nineteen. But he's never really had a big break. Most of the time he's only cast as the supporting role, but now he has the chance to be the leading man in an actual movie. Although he really like's the offer he's still not sure if he wants to go back in so soon.
"I don't know Andres, I mean I don't even know what this movie's about."
"Oh well, here." He hands Leon a script. "The company sent it over, it's the script for the movie." Leon looks at the title and already feels something stir in his stomach. It reminds him of something, or rather someone. Someone he hasn't spoken too since high school.
"I don't want to read through all of it just yet, give me a run down." Andres tells him it's a love story between two high school sweet hearts that split up after graduation and come back together years later and rekindle their love. That makes Leon's stomach twist further. Too many memories flash through his head and he's once again reminded of that someone. Even after all this time, he still can't forget her. He doesn't think he ever will.
"So, what do I tell the director, will you take it?" Leon considers his options. He can spend some free time in Malibu before he goes out to look for his own opportunity, or he can launch himself into a new project. The beaches in Malibu are tempting...
"Fine, I'll do it, but only because the story sounds good." Andres cheers and sets off to call the director. Leon slumps in his chair and sighs. What did he get himself into?

/Violetta/
"Violetta!"
"In my office!" Violetta calls back. Francesca, her manager, walks into the room a large smile on her face.
"Guess what?"
"You finally realized you have feelings for Marco?" Francesca blushes and shakes her head.
"Uh no, you know he doesn't like me like that." Honestly, she was the only one who didn't realize how head over heels Marco was for her. "I was going to tell you about a job offer, but if you're going to be that way-"
"No, no fine I won't say anything else, but can we make this quick, I'm in the middle of shopping."
"You seriously need to stop online shopping, you have more shoes than I can count."
"Yeah well they're pretty, I can't help myself, now the job offer."
"Oh yeah." Francesca takes a seat in front of her and pulls out a script. "It's called Baby, I Loved You First, it's supposed to be a big hit and they want you as the female lead." Violetta takes a moment to look away from the pretty shoes to look at the papers.
"What's it about."
"Well when I read through it, it reminded me of a relationship I used to know." She looks hesitant and Violetta doesn't have to ask who she's talking about, she knows.
"Yeah well things change you know that. I have Tomas now."
"I know, but you and Leon were so good together I still don't understand-"
"Stop. I don't want to discuss this. And if this movie really reminds you of me and him, I don't want to do it." Francesca looks sympathetic, but she still pleads.
"But this is big for your career. It's practically your big break into the movie world. You'll finally get to audition for more than the supportive best friend role." She jumps out of the chair to rest on her knees as she full on begs. "Please Vilu, give it a chance." She's looking at Violetta with puppy dog eyes and she knows that look kills her.
Violetta knows that Fran is right. This could be really good for her career. She's only been cast as the best friend in the wide variety of films she's been in. It would be a nice change to finally be the leading lady, but she's not sure about this. With what Fran said, Vilu knows that this will almost be a walk down memory lane. She decides she'll risk it because she can't stand Francesca looking at her like that.
"Ugh fine, fine I'll do it, but only because it's good for my career. Now can I go back to shopping?" Francesca nods and goes off to call the director. Violetta just shakes her head. She hopes she won't regret this.
