/Violetta/

Another day on set. Violetta is glad that this is the last scene for the day. She makes her way to field where they will be filming and sits down on her marker.

"Ready?" The director asks. She nods and he makes sure everything else is ready before calling, "Lights... Sounds... Camera... Rolling... And action!"

L: [running up to V] Hey, I was hoping to catch you. [breathless as he takes a seat next to her]

V: Me? Why?

L: [nervous as he grabs her hand] I wanted to ask you something.

V: [blushing and nervous too] What?

L: [deep breath] Do you think maybe you want to go like on a date with me?

V: [blushes more and nods shyly] Yeah okay. [continue to stare at each other]

"And cut!" The director shouts. Violetta retracts her hand, and stands dusting off her skirt. "Looks like that's a wrap." He announces and the crew starts to clean up for the day. Violetta makes her way back to her dressing room only to be stopped by Leon a minute later.

"Hey Violetta?"

"Yeah?" She's trying to let it be normal again. It's still hard to talk like they used too, but it's getting there. They're making progress and that's what counts.

"I was wondering if you heard about Marco's party."

"Oh yeah, Fran told me about it. It's tomorrow right?" She remembers Fran mentioning it. She also remembers how she kept making up excuses as to why she couldn't go. In the end, she huffed and puffed, but agreed on the condition that Violetta also attend.

"Yeah, are you going?"

"Most likely." Leon breaks into a huge grin.

"Great then, I'll see you there." He waves and is off on his merry way. She waves back until she realizes what he said. He's going to be there. Oh no. This is not good. A party, alone- well technically not alone, but still- with Leon. She hasn't gone to party in a long time and now she'll be attending one where he'll be there. She quickly pulls out her phone dialing Tomas.

"Hello?" Comes his groggy voice. She forgets he likes to sleep in.

"Sorry if I woke you, but I had a question." She hears him shuffle about, probably sitting up in bed.

"What is it?"

"Would you go to a party with me tomorrow night?" Violetta holds her breath as she waits for an answer.

"Sure babe." She exhales, smiling as she ends the call. She puts her phone back in her pocket and let's herself not worry too much about tomorrow.

|Flashback|

The lights are dark, colorful spotlights are what illuminates the room. The music is loud as Violetta makes her way through the crowd. She lost Camilla an hour ago and she really wants to go home. Parties are definitely not her scene. Bodies crash into her left and right as they dance causing Violetta to lose her balance. Lucky for her, someone catches her before she falls, and that someone is Leon.

"Are you alright?" He asks concerned. She nods and let's Leon guide her through the mass of people until they sit outside. "Great party huh?" It's clear he's being sarcastic and Violetta can only smile. "So what brings you here this fine Saturday night?"

"What do I not look like the type to have fun?"

"No, you just look like you'd rather not be here." She sighs, resting her head on her knees.

"Yeah well you're right about that." She glances up at Leon as she says the rest. "I'm not much of a partier, but Camilla said it would be fun and Fran was so excited about her first high school party so I came along. If I'm being honest, it's not all it's cracked up to be."

"Yeah they never are. All it is, is loud music and too many people." He gives a contemplative look to Violetta and then suddenly stands up. "What do you say we get out of here? I know this really awesome ice cream shop we can go to." She thinks about it and has to shake her head.

"I don't know I mean it's late, something could happen to us." Leon leans closer whispering in her ear.

"Don't worry, my parents own the place." She feels at ease now and lets him drag her away. It was the beginning of something new.

\Leon\

The memory of that party is something that Leon likes to think back to every once in a while. It was pretty much where it all started. From there it was more dates like that where they would run off after school to the ice cream parlor or a nearby fast food place. Then Leon had asked her to a movie and he was so nervous he spilled their giant tub of popcorn. Then it was going to the homecoming dance and hanging out all the time and...

Leon shakes his head. Good times, good times, but it's in the past. The past is something he shouldn't dwell on, especially now. He's going to move forward with his life because he deserves to find happiness too.

When he arrives home later that day, his mood shifts to one of sadness. He takes in his surroundings, his empty couch and desolate chairs. He feels awfully lonely today, more so than usual. He needs some company.

"And I told her that it was a joke, but she didn't believe me."

"Dude you seriously gotta stop with the weird jokes, girls are not into lame jokesters." Andres pouts. Leon called him up and now they sit at the dinner table, Chinese take-out in hand. He was telling Leon about a date he went on last week.

"Yeah well I only have jokes to impress. I'm not exactly a handsome actor like some people." Leon rolls his eyes.

"You don't have to be a handsome actor to impress. You have to be sweet and honest... and not tell lame puns." Andres scowls and that has Leon laughing, some of his orange chicken falling on the table.

"So any plans for tomorrow?" Andres questions as he takes a bite out of his egg roll.

"Going to Marco's party." Andres is taking a sip of his drink when Leon mentions, "Violetta is going to be there." Initiate spit take. Thankfully, Leon has his eyes closed as the now warm liquid drips down his face.

"Sorry." He apologizes, grabbing napkins to clean Leon up. "I just didn't know how to react."

"It's not that big of a deal."

"Maybe not, but then again it kind of is. This is the first time in like forever that you'll get to see her somewhere that isn't on set."

"What about the restaurant?" He tries, Andres gives him a blank look.

"You know that doesn't count. This is totally different. You have to make an impression." He stands up and hauls Leon up with him.

"What are you doing?" Andres stops to open his bedroom door, pushing them both in.

"We are going to look through your clothes to see what you would look best in."

"You do realize the party is tomorrow?" Andres halts his actions, dropping his arms.

"Well then expect me here tomorrow." Yeah, Leon figured.
