Nathan POV
One month later
Everything been going great lately. Kaydyn, and I are spending more time together. I'm really happy my baby got a promotion at her job. Right now we are at the mall shopping. "Babe should I get this in white, or peach?" She asked holding up two dresses.
I look up from my phone "Get both, they'll look good on you."
"Okay." she walked away finding more things to get. She wanted to go shopping because she wanted to get new clothes for a business trip. Her job is going to Hilton Head in South Carolina. We stayed in that store for two hours. Next we went to Coach to get her a couple of bags. Then we went to Micheal Kors to got her a watch, and three bags. Then we stop by Aunt Annie to get two pretzels. We both got cinnamon. I paid for everything.
"When you're coming back again?" I asked her as we walked out of the mall.
"Tuesday night." she said as I put her bags in the car. Then I open the car door for her before getting in.
"Anything else you want to do before you leave tonight?" I drove out the parking lot.
"Go take a walk in the park like we use to do back in the day." she smiled at me as her fresh blow out blew in the wind. Seeing her happy means everything to me. Her skin been glowing all day. She has on a blue summer dress, white sandals, and she had all her tattoos showing today.
"Alright anything for my Queen." I went in that direction.
"Let's stop by subway, so it can really feel like old times." she said. The Subway is only up the street from the park. Back when were in college, and we didn't have no car. We use to always walked to subway, and hang at the park until after dark.
"Its all about you." I grabbed her hand, and kissed it.
We made it to the park, and sat at our favorite table there. "I'm going to miss you so much." she said pouting.
"I'm going to miss you so much more. What am I going to do for four days while you're gone" I said.
You, shit me this is going to be the longest I ever been without you." she replied.
"Allison going too right?" I asked.
"Yeah." she said.
"You'll have fun. All my friends have kids that live here, so I know they might not have time to hang." I said.
"You'll find something to do." She took a sip of her drink.
"I've been doing some thinking, and I think we should try for a baby." I told her. I'm ready to have some kids. I know I'm only 23, but I don't want to wait too late to have kids.
"I don't want any kids right now. Maybe five, or six years later." she sighed. I nodded my head.
"Why wait to have kids? It isn't like we can't provide for them. I make more than enough." I told her.
"Because I'm young, and I still want to live my life. I don't want to tend any kids right now." She said.
"How can you be so selfish?" I spat.
"I'm not being selfish. I just want to do things I want to do before I bring kids in this world." she said.
"Whatever you say." I told her.
"We can try for a baby in a year." she said after a few minutes.
"Thank you." I said. I can wait a couple, but five is too much.
