As Calum and I sat in silence waiting for Jess to bring back some food, I hear laughing and turn around just to see who it was out of boredom. My eyes landed on Asypn and Michael who are with a small group of people, I quickly turn back hoping they didn't see me. I sank low into the chair and froze thinking about leaving since I don't want to cause any rumors spreading the next day at school.
"What are you doing?" Calum stares at me blankly. I point upwards towards the group hoping he gets the point. He mouths an ok and we continue to sit in awkward silence. Jess finally arrives with a box of pizza and pretzels.
"Cass why are you sitting like that?"
"Clifford and Aspyn are here and she doesn't want to be seen by them." Calum answers for me since my face is stuffed with food already.
"I thought Aspyn hated Michael? Why are they together?" Jess asks as she finds another seat and sits down. I shrugged, I wasn't sure what he had done to her but whatever it was is probably bad news.
