{ Chapter 9 }

I chase after Aspen outside of the track and I find her in the parking lot. We was sitting in the curb of the street with her face in her hands.

"Aspyn, I swear to-"

"I don't want to hear it ok. I get it you have feelings for him and he does too, but that doesn't mean you guys can rub it in my face." I took a step back stunned at what she had just said. I can't believe it. Michael likes me?

She turns around and looks up at me, her eyes red and her nose starting to drip. " How did you know Michael likes me?" I slowly asked her.

"The day you came over and when you were downstairs, I made a deal with him remember?" I nodded. "Well we agreed that once I hook him up with you then he'll take me on the date he promised me."

I just stood there in confusion trying to understand what she just said. I took a seat next to her, and we just sat in silence. Soon she rested her head on my shoulder but I stopped her since I heard her stomach grumbling. I laughed.

I helped her up and brought her over to Jess' car, where her and Calum were taking a little nap. Aspyn sat in the front seat while the cute little couple sat in the back. I took the keys from the cup and started the little joy ride in the car that was filled with small snores.

I slowly pulled the car into my driveway taking out the fast food bags with me. I set the keys and food on the counter before I was about to head back and wake everyone up. As I walked back to the car, there was a truck driving by with loud music I tried to ignore them but they started pulling out egg cartons. I quickly got to the car and tried to wake up my friends, Jess was first to wake up looking pissed from the loud noise of the music. Soon she shook Calum awake while I was trying to get Aspyn out of the car. By the time we were almost at the door the truck circled back and they started throwing egg. Unfortunately me and Calum got hit, and Jess' car looked like a mess. Once we quickly got inside Jess was about to step back outside again. But the time she got to the lawn the truck was gone.

"I am going to find those assholes and shove my left shoe up their ass" she said pulling off her shoes, we all laughed.

"While you guys were asleep I bought you guys some food if you're hungry." I said motioning towards the counter. They all took a bag while I headed upstairs since I need to clean up after what the assholes did.

I turned on the shower, waiting for it to get hot and stared at myself. I noted on every little detail on my body, even at the scars on my stomach after the accident. I looked up at my face and saw on my lip that there was a purple bruise around it. I slowly touched it not knowing how long I had it. I then looked at my neck and there was a large hand print coming up at the side. I took a step back not believing what I had just saw. Now I know the little shit who kept leaving me hickeys.
