Chapter 11.

Okay now seriously this was getting weird. Maybe Jamie was right? Was Chace some weirdo?

Before anyone had a chance to even say a word, Jamie had lunged forward and tackled Chace to the ground and punched before anyone could do anything.

"JAMIE!" My mother and I shouted at the same time. George bent down at picked and picked up the two of them by the scruffs of their tee-shirts and put Chace beside the kitchen counter and Jamie beside me. Jamie was still screaming madly at Chace, even when George picked him up of the ground.

"What the hell you crazy stalker, you are fucking sick. Why the hell are you here-" George pushed Jamie back against the kitchen door and grabbed the front of Jamie's shirt, this was enough to make him shut up. George was a good few inches taller than Jamie, and Jamie was quite tall, so basically George was freaking scary.

"Listen here boy. You will not, I repeat, NOT talk to Chace that way or lay one hand on him. You hear me? Or we'll have a problem on our hands won't we?" George spat in Jamie's face. I had a strong urge to go and pull George away from him. The scared look on Jamie's face made him look like a little kid. I resisted the urge, knowing I would only make the situation worse.

"George, calm down. Let the boy explain. Look Chace is perfectly fine and Jamie is a guest in our house. I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt Chace." My mother said to George in a soothing voice. George at this point was red in this face, and I could see the anger in his eyes. His hands were clenched onto the front of Jamie's shirt so hard that his knuckles were turning white. George definately had some anger issues. Had he ever hit my mother?

George made some sort of weird growel and let go of Jamie. I let out a breath I hadn't realised I'd been holding. George really was scary man. Why was my Mom marrying him? Jamie frowned and straighten out his shirt, trying to gain composure.

"Okay boy, you have 5 seconds to explain why you just attacked my son?" George snarled out. Wait what? Son?

"What?" Me and Jamie chorused out together. We both looked at each other in confusion and then back at George. I looked over at my mother, to see if this news was new to her, but she seemed perfectly calm.

"My son." George said plainly. George has a son? I thought Chase's dad was-, I suddenly remembered the conversation me and Chace had on the plane.

" I'm on my way to see my Dad's best friend, who left his wife a few months ago, for a younger woman. You see he's kind of like a second father to me because my dad is a douche."

So that meant George was the second 'dad'. Which made Chace his 'son'. This was getting just a little bit too much to comprehend.

"Sasha, do you remember the talk we had on the plane?" Chace's voice broke me out of my thoughts.

"What? Oh yeah, I remember, Wow I never thought your, ehm, second Dad would be my soon- to- be step father." I said, disbelief in my voice.

"Wait you two know each other?" Elaine asked in confusion.

"Yeah we met on the plane." I replied dryly, which earned me a glare from George. Luckily Jamie interrupted before he could say anything.
