Okay, I was expecting something, anything, but definitely not those words. Confused couldn’t even explain how I was feeling right now.

“W-what?” I managed to get out. Elaine kept her eyes on the road and it was pretty obvious she wasn’t about to repeat herself. Jamie stepped in.

I was literally lost for words. Shocking I know. George had pushed me and Jamie? It was so strange. After hearing the story, bits of memories were coming back to me, but it was like I had watched it on a tv show, not like I had actually experienced it.

I had nothing to say. I knew it wasn’t Elaine’s fault, I knew it was no ones fault but Georges but I just could help feel...like she had betrayed me or something. Probably sounds stupid but I guess you just had to be me to understand. I rested my head back and shut my eyes tight and wished that I could go back in time and never come to England. Jamie took my hand and never let go the whole way home.

When we got home, Sinead and Alexia were just about to leave. At least that gave me a little bit of joy. It was really late, they were obviously in a rush to leave. Thank God.

“Well, I guess none of this thought this was how it would turn out, but I can’t excuse my brothers actions. He has a problem and I can see that now. I’m just sorry we all had to go through this to realise that.” Sinead told us, tight lipped. You could literally cut the tension with a knife. Sinead looked at me and sent me a small smile. “It was lovely to meet you Sasha. I’m so very sorry.” I nodded my head slightly, which caused me to wince. Good move Sasha.

Alex was stood behind Sinead, fixing her hair while looking in a compact mirror. Yeah, she definitely cares. Sinead glanced back at her and tugged her forward. Alexia stood there for a moment not saying anything, an incredibly bored look on her face. Sinead coughed, so subtly and Alexia groaned.

“It was lovely staying here Elaine. Thank you so much. I’m sorry we will not be related.” She rhymed of, in a very robotic fashioned. It was pretty horrible and awkward to see. With one last smile and wave, Sinead opened to front door and stepped out, followed closely by Alexia. Alexia walked into my shoulder and muttered into my ear.

“I never wanted Jamie anyway.” I rolled my eyes. That was the lie of the century.

And just like that they were gone. Gone completely out of my life. I couldn’t have been happier.

------------------------------------

I was seated on my bed, staring into space. My suitcase was packed, the room was completely empty. I had talked to my dad on the phone and let me tell you, he was definitely not happy. I could only imagine what he had said to Elaine. I so badly wanted to go home, but I already knew that I had to wait until Sunday. What I was going to do for the remaining two days I had no idea.

I had begun to remember some things from yesterday, which was a relief, but the only thing of importance was that I had kissed Chace. I was slightly regretting that I had kissed him. It was quite cringey to remember and I could help but wish it was Jamie. Stupid, I know. After everything, I still liked Jamie. Chace was so nice, and sweet and definitely good looking, but with Jamie around I couldn’t help but compare them. Jamie coming out on top. Everything was so confusing but I knew I needed to sort some things out before we got back to America. Starting with Chace.
