Savannah's P.O.V

"Why do you care so much?" I asked my bestfriend.

"I only care because we have been dating for nearly six months and he still hasn't told me he loves me. Don't you find that kind of weird?" She asked me, and I just shrugged my shoulders at her and continued working on my Chemistry homework.

"Seriously Savannah, I need your opinion on this. Do you think there is another girl? Is that why he won't say it?" She nagged, causing me to rolled my eyes.

"Honestly Quinn, I think the only people who can truly love you, are the people in your family." I said and she looked at me with a shocked expression. She slammed my textbook shut and pushed it away from me, causing me to groan in frustration.

"Are you seriously telling me you don't believe in love?" She asked me, her voice so high pitched my dog was probably whimpering from downstairs.

"That's exactly what I am saying." I said and.

She shook her head at me and let out a sigh.

"How can you not? Love is everywhere." She said.

"Think of it this way, if someone truly loved you, they would do everything to keep you safe. They would never wanna see you hurt, yet in the long run, they are always the ones that hurt you." I explained and she looked at me with wide eyes.

"That's not always true." She said.

"It is though. And that's why I don't believe in love."
