The Saddest Goodbye

*Ring* *Ring*

My alarm clock rings

I opened my eyes to see the most important boy in my life. Ace, my son.
I smiled as I watch him slowly opening his eyes. This kind of view reminds me of how God showered me with gifts and I could'nt be more thankful for having Ace.

"Good morning baby!" I cheerfully greeted Ace.

"Good morning mom." He slowly said with a sleepy voice.

I hugged him tight. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me Ace.

"Oh!! It's time to get up!! First day of school!!" I told him as I tickled him.

I hope this moments will stay forever on his heart. Even though I don't have Kris by my side to witness this little things I'm still thankful because I know Ace have me and I, him.

"Let's go!! It's time to take a bath you stinky little man." I pushed him lightly into the bathroom.

"Mom!! I'm not stinky!!! I'm handsome." He replied with a frown.

One thing Ace got from his father is his confidence. His graceful walks and gentle talks always reminds me of Kris. Even the dorky side of him too.

"Mom! Stop spacing out. We're going to be late." He whined. And yep, his irritable side also.

We finished taking a bath and I started to prepare our breakfast and also our lunch. I toasted some bread and fried some eggs and ham. I also prepared a glass of milk for him and a cup of coffee for me.

"Here. Eat up young man!" I commanded him.

After a few minutes, my phone rings.

"Hello?" I greeted.

"You're late for work. Hurry up and open the door. It's freezing!!!" The other line replied.

"Who are you?" I asked very amused.

"Your boss. Now, open this door or I'll fire you." This deer said with a touch of authority in his voice.

"Aish!! Okay I'm coming!!" I said in an irritated tone.

I hurried up and opened the door. He quickly got inside and sat on one of the sofas in the living room. I glared at him for a couple of minutes while he was busily looking through our photo album.

"Mom!! Who is that???" Suddenly Ace came running to the living room making Luhan stop what he's doing and laugh.

"And yup, my assumptions are right." He said between chuckles.

I suddenly became nervous. I forgot that Ace was here.

"Hey you!! Why are you laughing? You short haired girl!!" My son shouted to Luhan and also pointing him.

And with that, Luhan stopped laughing and stared at my child like he had seen a ghost.

"What did you said young man? Me??!! A girl??!!! Oh! For the love of God!! I'm your uncle!!!" He shouted.

My eyes got bigger not because he's scolding my son but because he knows Ace is my son.

"H-ow did.. You know?" I stuttered.
