Kris' POV
I woke up with a headache and absolutely no memories of what happened last night.
"Yo~ Kris!!" I realized where I am when I heard Luhan's voice.
"Tell me, is this about Amber again?" He asked and I just stared at him blankly.
"Ok. So you will not talk about it again?" Luhan continued speaking and I just looked out the window.
"Today was 25th." I said.
"So what if it's the 25th? Do you have a schedule. Don't tell me you're going to skip another interview?" Luhan asked curiously.
"No. I don't accept any offers during the 25th of October." I said.
"Then what is it? Man, I sound so gay asking you questions like this. So just tell me so I can help you with your problems." Luhan replied.
"Today's supposed our 10th anniversary and our planned wedding day." I said still not looking at him.
"Wai..." Luhan was disturbed by a sudden ring on his phone and turned around.
I just continued staring outside. The feeling is still there. I want to cry because I'm mad at her and still, I love her as well.

Luhan's POV
"Hello?"
"Hey! Mr. CEO. I cannot make it to work today." Amber. The girl we were just talking about a while ago. Geez this girl.
"And why Ms. Liu?" I asked again.
"I've got some important matters to attend to." She replied.
"And what so important about those matters??" I asked.
"Mom!!!! Mommy!! Hey! Ace be quiet. So sorry about that my ch-cousin's child is here. Can you repeat your question again?" She asked.
I already know she's lying. My cousin's child. Man, this drama of Kris and Amber is making a fuss in my life lately. Why can't they just get back together and be happy? I just don't understand what love really is?
"Amber, why don't you just tell Kris the truth?" I asked.
The line went silent and I could feel the awkwardness rising up. So, I decided to change the topic.
"Ok. Is it you're nephew's birthday today?" I asked curiously.
"Yes. Ok. Gotta go bye boss!!" She replied.
So it's Ace's birthday. That child. I never expected that he'll grow up fast. Gosh! I feel so old but I'm still handsome though.
"Tell Kris about what?" I heard Kris' voice from behind.
Oh no.
"Well, I was just telling Amber that she should stop being awkward with you. Like she should tell you that you two are civil. Okay?" I replied calmly.
"Civil? That's funny." He replied smirking.
"And why is being civil with your ex funny?? Oh come on Kris!! If you still love her, be with her. If you don't, then be civil. You guys are just so complicated." I replied while getting my keys.
I have to buy some gifts for Ace.
"Where are you going?" Kris asked curiously.
"For another adventure." I said smiling.
This what I love about being single. I can do whatever I can.
"Can I come with you? I don't have anything to do today." Kris asked.
"You won't like what my adventure means." I replied.
"Whatever." And with that, he gave up walking towards the spare bedroom or should I say his bedroom.
As I assured that he closed the door, I hurriedly ran to the stairs and started my engine.
AT THE MALL
"Excuse me miss? Do you have some control cars sold here?" I asked the sales lady.
"Yes sir. What kind of car sir? Ferrari? Volkswagen? Mercedez?" She asked.
"The latest model." I shortly said.
"Ok sir. I'll be back in a minute." The saleslady said and I just find my place to sit.
Kris' POV
I got bored and decided to follow Luhan's car and I found myself following him into the mall. As I was curiously watching him buying toy cars, I saw someone I knew.
"Henry hyung!!!" I hollered.
"Oh!! Kris!! Is that you? Long time no see bro." He casually offered his hands for a shake but I just ignored it.
"Oh. How's your life bow huh?" I asked.
"Good. Happy. And so busy. In fact, I just came here for someone's birthday." He replied.
"Oh! Well, it's nice seeing you hyung." I plastered a not so friendly smile and draw my attention back to Luhan and to my surprise, he's gone.
Aish!! That man!! Now what am I going to do with my day?

AMBER's POV
Ace will celebrate his 5th birthday now. Five years in silence and happiness. Watching him running around the house. I just can't believe that this was the angel I used to carry and protect inside my belly 5 years ago.
The sight of him being cheerful and calm takes my soul to the highest heavens. And everythime I see him laugh, it's as if my whole world lightens up. He is the only one who made things right when everything around me was falling apart. An angel sent by God, that's what he is.
Those innocent eyes of his full of questions. Questions, I never know how to answer. And the answers I'm afraid to say. Because if I do, it might end everything.
Kris...
"Mom!! I'm going to pee." Ace asked which made me startle.
"Oh! Just go aheah baby." I answered.
"Mom you look so worried. What's wrong mom?" He asked innocently.
"Nothing... Nothings wrong with mommy. Don't worry. Mommy was just thinking of something baby." I shook my head while answering.
"Ok." He answered.
"Don't worry baby. There's nothing wrong with mommy. Oh! I almost forgot!! Mommy wants to know what Ace likes to have on his birthday?" I asked kneeling down into his level.
"Mom? I want to meet my real father." He said while looking down.
I stared at him for the longest time. My mind is debating whether to tell him the truth or not. Whether I, should risk what we have now in order for him to know who he really is. Today was the day I feared to happen.
