"Name?" the lady asks from the desk.
"Uh, Mason Prince. I'm here to meet with Mr. Cross." I put on my best smile.
The lady looks me up and down. "Oh, you're that little punky girl."
"Uh, yeah. Can I just go see him now?"
"Sure, sweetie."
I trot over to the elevator and push the button labeled "5". The doors shut and the elevator moves up. The doors finally open and I walk down the long hallway to his office.
"Mason!" Mr. Cross cheers from his desk. He moves slowly from his desk to me. His hands grab my elbows and he looks at me intently.
"Uh, hey." I smile at him.
"It's lovely to see you. Thank you for meeting with me." He motions for me to take a seat. "Your EP was wonderful and did well on the charts. The album comes out soon, so that's also exciting. I know at our last meeting we introduced the idea of you touring with a band, well I found the band. Their tour starts in February and it's a world tour."
"A world tour? Woah." I'm pretty sure the bottom of my mouth is touching the ground.
"Yes, and the Asia leg is first. I need you to meet them at their hotel tomorrow. Andi told me that you sometimes have a hard time being yourself when you don't know the people very well. I know it's December so we plan on you travelling wherever they go. You have to spend time with them."
"Okay, this sounds amazing!" I smile brightly.
"It is amazing." someone says behind me.
"Andi! Glad you could make it!" Mr Cross says.
Andi takes a seat next to me. "This is my little star. Of course I would come." I smile at her.
"So who exactly am I opening for? You never said." I laugh, "And that's kinda important."
Mr Cross and Andi chuckle.
"This coming February," Andi says dramatically, "Mason Prince or better known as MASE will be opening for 5 Seconds of Summer!"
Well this will be interesting...
